Colored Pencil POWDER Base? Easy & Quick Drawing, Layering, Blending Realistic Skin Tone -Tutorial

@BMDPortraits Welcomes you, colored pencil artists, young and old, boys and girls, beginners or not, to join me to another realistic colored pencil drawing tutorial using a drawing technique that most of you have not tried or heard of. I love drawing realistic detailed skin tones but somehow wax based colored pencils canโ€™t seem to be capable of drawing details as great as oil based colored pencils. But today, using Prismacolor Premier Waxed based colored pencil, a more popular brand of colored pencil to majority of portrait artists I will introduce a new drawing technique that might help us draw realistic detailed skin tone without sacrificing the layering and the blending, skin tones should still be smooth without heavy burnishing and the details are still preserved. This new colored pencil drawing tutorial is filmed on a slower pace and a longer video which I use the English language to at least reach more and more colored pencil artists, students and beginners and hopefully offer a new idea and tutorial to somehow held them become better colored pencil portrait artists in the near future. #drawing #drawingtutorial #bmdportraits #coloredpencils #tutorial #tutorial

  1. good technique. bonus. I've got good news. but first some bad news. mankind are sinners. at the very least, we have lied some time in our lives. and God cannot stand one iota of sin in His presence because God is holy and good. so He has to put the souls of sinners in hell, to separate them from Himself and to punish them. but God is also love, so He doesn't want all of mankind to suffer in hell forever. so God made a way for some to be saved from His wrath. here are the steps.

    1. admit that you're a sinner.

    2. realize that the penalty of sin is death and hell.

    3. believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, then rose again to pay the penalty for sin.

    4. trust Christ alone as your Savior.

a scientific and biblical truth. https://youtu.be/vyAh9OENJPU?t=20

But i often have a hard time laying down the colour properly on top of the pastel, coz all the tooth of paper is gone/coveredโ€ฆ

Definitely going to try your tips.. thanks for sharing โคโค

  5. @BMD Portraits – Hope you see this! You mentioned that PrismaColor really shouldnโ€™t be used for doing complex skin tones. I found that interesting because I know of an artist (He did it for a living, he says he is retired, but he is still doing a bit of pencil work and is still selling, so maybe he is only partially retired) that does very complex skin tones, as well as other complex objects/subjects. His use of PrismaColor is incredible. I did a quick search to see if you were on Facebook or not and found that you are (I โ€œfollowedโ€ by the way), you might want to look up Andy Gill and see what he does. โ˜บ๏ธ
