Ode to Lischey Ave. : Located in the heart of East Nashville (Out East), Lischey Ave was an area that was predominately African American who had many Black Owned Business that was thriving. There was a crime in the area as well over many years when I was growing up but many residents of the block stood up against crime in the area and represented Lischey Ave to the core. Gentrification has hit this area but it is still a very prominent area in my hometown/city Nashville, TN.
