  1. "Im getting paid to stream this, but it doesnt influence me at all" – everybody on twitch…and thats why garbage like cyberpunk or new world succeeds regardles its quallity. Pay to Win on twitch. Good video tho.

  2. as u say competition is healthy, but to much of it ruins it.

becuse you dont enjoy yourself in your games, like i gotta get highest ilvl asap, gotta skip all cut scenes to be as powerful as possible!

i mean there is so much in this game that makes this a great game.

one thing it does not do is it does not encourage u to get as high ilvl as possible but enjoy the story etc.

  3. So paying enough to progress passed all the timegated content in 1 day that takes a hardcore grinder 7-10 months isnt p2w? Your saying it has to be pvp related in order to be p2w?

  4. Sounds like u didn't really dive in and UNDERSTAND the cash shop what exactly is the cost to progress what do u buy from the shop to progress u made almost 0 effort to give any real information just surface level minute observations oh hey I saw card packs in the shop must be pay to win guys lol don't even tall about the shop if your not going to actually do the research to find anything out about it

  5. For a game that's existed since 2019 in other countries I was definitely hoping for a better launch, but that does contribute to how complete it feels since it's actually been around a while. We're definitely having loads of fun playing though
Was sad to see Summoner removed for now, as I played that in the NA beta and really liked it. Hope they add it back soon

  6. I mean lets be real. if you say pay2progress faster is pay2win okay. nayopne has his own standards. But then dont have a double standard on wow or ff14 and say a level boost isnt pay2win lmfao

  7. "nothing is ever free" is what i always have in mind when playing f2p titles. i can enjoy the game and should i hit that wall, i will move on. people look for a game that they can play but also projecting their own person onto it. (what is imo wrong) just enjoying something is almost impossible in todays media world, and it's sad.

  8. Nobody mentions that the free to play/pay to win part of the game actually has a currency exchange so that a good free to play players can farm and use all the systems in the game to gather up a good amount of in store crystals for the cash shop. Very few things are actually locked behind 'real cash'.

  9. I'm watching this in bed very quietly next to my sleeping girlfriend while reading the comments so I can't hear you, but I will say I haven't spent a dime and I've been enjoying myself. Finished the mainline up to where you get the Power Pass. Is it perfect? No, but I'm not going to let that spoil all the good I see in the game.

  10. The issue no one really touches on is that the end game is mired in a bewildering amount of end game systems that all contribute to player power. For competitive players or those looking to push hard content it all becomes necessary too. The worst part about them are the rng involved like with faceting or the mobile energy BS gating you. This game would likely be the best mmo of the decade if the gating and shop weren’t a thing.

  11. hmm sure, but i've been gaming a bit too long and know a bit too much to be capitvated by a soulless fake facade "game" like this lost ark trash.

Sad to see someone like you will never be proper.

  12. this guy is a clown – you made a video to say this game is not P2W and then just explain how P2W this game is just so you can cover your ass. And then say the idea of P2W is an opinion – no sir P2W is P2W – doesnt mean you cant enjoy the game but its absurd to say its not P2W to protect your feelings – You are playing a P2W game

  13. im so glad it was free to play because i would have killed myself if i paid 60 bucks for it. i havent followed the game at all until like 2 weeks ago and didnt know that endgame means grinding fucking 80 different currencies to upgrade gear for the rest of my life, questing consisting of spamming g for 25+ hours to reach 50 and constantly having to sail back and forth because you cant freely travel from continent to continent. a week wasted and until a lot of big changes are coming im never touching it agian.

  14. i have all the twitch drops. know endgame is a lot more then world 1st. but the fact that endgame is a huge grind 7 months or more depending on how fast your going. and the fact that grind can be skipped by paying kills any want i had to play the game.

  15. I couldn't even get through the incredibly monotonous leveling experience before dropping the game. I keep hearing the endgame is fun, but they make it such a slog to get there.

  16. imo it's an unfair statement when you say it will be a lot slower for f2p. Because for most people it won't. Unless you spend hundreds of dollars playing actively everyday is much more beneficial to your progression. From my experience with the cash shop it will only make a difference if you drop a couple hundred each month. The only other thing coming once people reach t3 is the active trading of gold for crystals, but this is how ANY mmo works – people buy something from the shop and sell it for ingame currency. What is often missed in these discussions is the % of playerbase actually whaling so hard that it would make a difference (on the server economy/people's perceptions/PvP/GvG etc…)

  17. The stronghold works a bit like escape from tarkov's hideout. The only difference is that you can pay to progress in Lost ark, but is there any reason to do that really? I think there is a lack of things in the F2p shop. I want to spend some money on the game, but I can't find anything I want to buy / need.

  18. I don't think the cash shop itself should be indicitive of the overall experience. The only way id ever be turned off by microtransactions is if I couldn't progress no matter what without buying a certain thing. I'm happy to grind and I'll buy the odd crystalline aura but that's literally it

  19. Didn't like the leveling, story, characters, and the combat felt lackluster lacking impact.
I thought it was incredibly pretty though, both the movesets and environments, even the characters.
At the end of the day, I found out boring. Wish I felt the excitement others do, but it's just not there and most of my steam friends have Uninstalled it as well.

  20. I tried it and just barely completed the prologue before realizing this is one of those massive mob games that are ridiculously easy to get through you'll have no challenges fighting monsters in this game, difficulty needs to be significantly increased.

  21. The game is exceptional quality for a F2P title. Queueing aside, I didn't run into a single tech issue, which is great. Always fun with other players and in particular, real life buddies. The skills and special fx are especially well done.
