Always come back to Cohh for big story games like this, and it's always funny to watch him do the one step forward, two steps back in combat.
2 or 3 episodes ago he seemed to have figured out the trick of using Gouge to stack stagger multiplier quickly, getting 15000 damage staggers. Awesome stuff. Now he's using it to break stagger so it's always on cooldown when it would actually be good.
The combat is so deep, but the game just isn't punishing or rewarding enough to force you to actually use the mechanics. Could definitely use a big numbers overhaul or another difficulty.
