  1. I’m 63 single, been married. They were fools.

Anyway, I’m still learning to be human.
Love music. This song described me to a T.

Maybe someday a real man will get me. God only knows. I’ll wait. His time not mine. Always moving forward.
FYI-I’m not a C&W fan. But, you sir. Touched my heart with this song. It came from your soul.

    God bless you!

  3. Hey Cody Johnson! I know this is a long shot, but I figured I'd try. The end of January this year my best friend LD passed 2 weeks before his wedding. He was set to marry my other best friend Victoria He was a huge fan of yours, we all are! I don't know how many times he told us to watch your documentary Dear Rodeo before we did. He and his 5 year old step son Kyson would belt out Dear Rodeo together and is one of his favorite songs. We played Til You Can't at his funeral and that has became a song that we can feel his presence through. A bunch of us will be at your show in Simpsonville, South Carolina this Saturday including his step son and fiancΓ© it would be a true honor for us to shake your hand and tell you how much your music means to us. We are apart of your fan club but unfortunately didn't get selected for the Meet and Greet. We appreciate who you are and Thank you for putting out real country music we can connect to.

  5. I Saw You In Denver When My friend Invited me to See Luke Combs. I absolutely love this song, I’m such a perfectionist and sometime feel like I’m always doing something wrong or I’m not doing somethig right. And I beat myself up for it. But just likeYou Said Cody, you remind me all the time that I’m still learning being human. Your my county Idol Cody. Can’t wait to see you again in Denver.

  6. Every. Single. Song. They all touch my heart. All of his music plays nonstop on all of my young children's radios. He is definitely a legend in the making. They will be singing his music and saying his name for years to come. Thank you Cody for sharing your talent with the world.

  7. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Hebrews 9:27)
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:7)
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. (Psalms 34:18)

  8. This song hits different for me. Yeah I'm a country boy. But it hits different because, I grew up battling brain tumor surgeries. Hydrocephalus and VP shunt surgeries. The daily struggles of people judging you at work because they don't understand the pain. Oh and I also deal with epilepsy because of the brain surgeries. So yeah the lyrics, I'm still learning to be human, hit hard. I'm just trying to work to make a living to provide for my wife and my soon to be here son in October πŸ’™

  10. 33 yrs married next month & it must be give/take in a marriage.πŸ€ͺIf you force change (into what YOU want) you're stripping em of what THEY need. Trust me, be open minded, go with flow & join em. If you truly ❀em- don't "take away" everything they ❀ and force em to be JUST like you. Boring, right??? Plus, maybe opposites really do attract???πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸŽΆπŸ’œ
Edit- praying for 33 more happy yrs.πŸ™β€
