  2. My cat vomited on my wool rug, hooked on linen. Surface washing would not help this so I too washed it in the washer on the gentlest cycle and then put it in the dryer on the coolest temp.for a short amount of time to get most of the moisture out and then finished the rest just lying it flat to air dry. It turned out great. Better than having to throw it away.
