  1. Excuse me, but the failure of these dog owners to adequately control their very cute puppy just cost taxpayers God knows how many tens of thousands of dollars. Unleashed dogs are a major problem on the Oregon coast

  2. I'm not a Droid bot. I'm a person who walks on the beach and has been charged at repeatedly by illegally unleashed dogs owned by irresponsible people who don't follow the law. This dog obviously fell off the cliff because it wasn't leashed and under its owners' control. I say do not fund their gofundme. They should bear some of the cost for their irresponsibility since they've already run up quite a bill for the taxpayers due to the cost of the Coast Guard rescue. It's not the dog's fault. I love dogs. It's dumb owners. Just watch Judge Judy and Hot Bench and other TV Court shows and you'll see them on a almost daily basis. Some people just shouldn't own dogs.

  3. I have the deepest respect for the U.S. Coast Guard. As usual, a terrific job! These brave, fearless people are sailors, drug enforcement people, police officers, rescuers, and firefighters — to name a few of their duties. What is it that they DON'T do??????? To all those who rescued Leo, I thank you.
