In Kagurabachi we’ve explained how Chihiro’s Sword Enten works, so moving onto the Next Enchanted Blade we have Cloud Gouger which at the beginning of the series belongs to Genichi Sojo, and this sword is completely different from Chihiro’s sword, since it’s based on the power of dragons and bad weather. First off, the main attack from this blade is called Mei, which generates a surge of lightning from the sword that can be extremely destructive. Mei can also be used in different ways like the user cloaking themselves in the electricity to give themselves an INSANE boost in movement speed and cutting power, and recently in the manga Chihiro has even taken this ability a step further creating the Mei: Shred technique which coats him in BLACK Lightning and makes him extremely difficult to deal with. Aside from lightning the sword can also create water using the Kou ability which pairs really well with the first technique, and if all of that wasn’t cool enough already we’ve seen that Cloud Gouger can create Ice and freeze things in place instantly using a technique called Yui. Anything frozen by the blade will thaw pretty quickly after the sword is placed back in its sheath, however now imagine having to fight someone who can do ALL of that while zipping around the battlefield, and now you know why Chihiro wants it back so badly.
