YNW Melly’s defense rested their case Tuesday after calling only one witness to the stand to defend the rapper. The prosecution and defense are set to present their closing arguments Thursday before sending the jury off to deliberate on a verdict. The jurors were told to pack a bag as they will then be sequestered for jury deliberations. The Law&Crime Daily team has the details.

If he really switched cars and had nothing to do with it, why not take the stand and just say that? He doesn’t have to implicate anyone else. Just state his case. He changed cars. His other friend didn’t mention him changing cars. It just seems too convenient to me. But what do I know?
If im a juror i ask myself 1 question. Did they show me that melly killed 2 people. The answer is no. Therefore i send him home. Now that doesn't mean that melly didn't do it. It only means that the prosecution couldn't prove it to me.

The friends body language in the stand is the sign of a guilty man. He was slouched over and trying to out smart the prosecution. Rubbing his chin… also shows guilt. YMW Melly knows exactly what happened. If he didn’t pull the trigger he knows exactly who did and he is 1000% involved

It took years for his only witness to come up with that story they both are liars and guess what the evidence will show otherwise and I hope that you're look at the evidence not listen to that liar understand

Witness had the same story even when interviewed prior. The states witness is facing jail if he doesnt say what they want. He already has 2 felonies. One credible and one is not. Case closed free him now
