Hangers: does size matter? One thing I’ve noticed whilst on various wardrobe culls – a thicker hanger can make all the difference in streamlining your wardrobe. This sequin rail used to house over 20 shirts, with so much crammed in on the thinnest hangers that I couldn’t see what was actually in there. Now, it’s been narrowed down to 10 of my favourite shirts – all sitting on much stronger, good-quality hangers. Sardines no more, they look much happier with a little breathing room…
Take a whistle-stop tour through Trinny Woodall’s (fifteen) wardrobes with Closet Confessions. In each episode, Trinny deep-dives into a particular section of her closet, mixing high street, vintage, designer and everything in between. This is everything you’ve ever wanted to know about fashion and styling, from the expert herself.

If I had a dedicated dressing room or the amount of wardrobe space as Trinny has, I wouldn’t be worried about whether to use thick or thin hangers! I’ve never seen anyone who has so many clothes and I wonder how she manages to choose what she’s going to wear every day. I’m puzzled as to why the one minute of coat hanger talk at the beginning warranted the title of this video?!
For people who don't want to watch a video on hangers, this was not about hangers😅
I think decluttering is as much about clearing space in your head as in your wardrobe. God job Trinny, loving the khaki outfit both with jacket and gilet. Also the exquisite grey tailored coat and trousers with the sparkle of the top at the end. Inspiring 😍
Lovely Trinny is the Queen of sparkling ✨
👌💃🏻🌹
The sparkle top as a vest over the white blouse – chefs kiss!
Adore the grey “board room” look! Funky and smart very very clever styling Trinny x
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Where are those light grey trousers from? Love these looks!
If it’s not The One, move it on out. You have so many near-dupes, but only one of them is The One, so just keep that one! I think if you got the black Temperly skirt shortened you would wear it, it’s beautiful, but much too long even for your highest heels. Shorten it to a day-length and get some good use out of it. Who’s still wearing heels these days, anyway? I haven’t seen a woman actually wearing them for 40 years, only on IG/Pinterest and you know they’re kicked off the second the pic is taken! We should be realistic about if we’re really going to wear our clothes – you’re never going to wear that skirt with a foot of fabric dragging on the ground, nor with 5-inch heels. Comfortable walking is essential for modern life. If an item needs all that tweaking, needing a certain additional item to wear under it, etc., just let it go. We all have enough beautiful clothes, you won’t miss it❤️
Link to the pants please
What's with "the jean" and "the trouser"? Affectation surely.
Trinny, the first sequin top: you add a band of organza to lengthen it ..make it look like it's loose coming from underneath, not attached directly to the edge…
❤️❤️❤️your clothes
Love these videos.
Thank you Trinny
Oh well done, Trinny, a hopeless clothes addict, for getting rid of stuff, not from downstairs/garage, but from up at the top.
I know it's hard for her – tho' for most people even 10 shiny tops is 8 or 9 more than they want – but she does lead a very public life, and I suppose needs to ring the changes… But sticking rigorously only to what goes 'ping', and ruthlessly getting rid of everything else is thoroughly worthwhile – and one feels better afterwards.
I love your khaki & gold outfit!!!!
I’m raging you didn’t show what you got rid of. But more importantly why ? What was your justification for demoting them to the garage ! 😂
Love the Santana playing in the background. My dear late Mom’s favourite music ever 🥹
Trinny's great favourites are always the sparkly silver pieces! She styles them to be eminently wearable for every day. Always a sense of fun & quirky details!
Inspired to wear something shiny or sequin every day to work during December 🎉
The grey coat is absolutely stunning front and back. Love the silver top with the white shirt underneath every way you styled it. Keep that top.
Genius Trinny ❤greetings from Sydney – I got distracted from my book writing but Trinny’s vids 🎉
Might be time to have a pause from shopping and ‘shop’ your substantial wardrobe!
The long gray coat is the first thing I have ever seen Trinny wear, that I would love to own too.
Wear the short glitter top over dresses
Skirt is not u anymore
