2:13:00 i had to check that out, i found the original video and it happened 11 years ago, or at least the co pilot originally posted it 11 years ago and from what i could tell in the video it seemed like the co pilot was maybe a student pilot working on getting his civilian license for flying helicopters just based on how the old gray haired bad ass pilot was talking to him at the end of the video (i might be completely wrongvon that too, thats just a guess). And I read a couple of comments and the co pilot was in the marines at the time and switched to army a few years later to fly helicopters full time…
Original video was posted by Helimoto, iirc, and heres the link, so you can see the true level of zero fucks given by the pilot when he stuffs the nose of his little helicopter into the brush so the co pilot could grab the RC P51 from the top of the tree. He just wanted to do something bad ass for the kid that the kid will remember forever.

2:11:52 so hate to say, as of 2017-2018ish the government took away the people's ownership of 200ft to ground level of airspace. My dad had a company of remote control airplanes and now you need a federal "drones license" to fly anything, even in a vacant field. Even hobbiests don't get a pass. So ya, it @ing sucks
