It's very dawy thing to do onto the greybeards to have them pay a grudge so obscure they don't really know about. if posible before attacking them try to play krog into a war with them, maybe with gold or a territory so you can win more from that war? if that's posible a hero actions such could stack, a few necromancers annoying their enemies could help with getting the lizards friendly.
Since this campaign seems to be winding down I'd love to see a Cathay, Beastmen, or Brettonia campaign next!
