  2. The "zombie" attack in Florida years ago where they reported he was high on bath salts was a modern case of someone becoming a wendigo. Media was spinning the narrative of bath salts but they only found THC in his system. There are other cases like that in the USA where people lose themselves after consuming the flesh of man and the cops not being able to restrict them.

  3. Thank you for not depicting an antlered Wendigo in your thumbnail. I automatically disregard any story or depiction involving antlers, because that aspect of the creature didn’t exist until the 2000 movie Wendigo

  4. I remember having this book from the library when I was in middle school, it was called Scary stories to tell in the dark.

    It was ok, but the last story was one called the Wendigo, it definitely left a lasting impression and scared the heck outta me!
