I had a copy of Beowulf with Anglo-Saxon on the left and modern English on the right. It was awesome to see how much the language has changed but how so many words haven’t. The values in the poem of Strength, Courage, Generosity, Sacrifice and Honor will never change and always be valuable.

It's still and always the same old story. Human beings, since the beginning and up to this day, live a life that is divided by good and evil. There's just no way to change it…beautiful and peaceful for a time followed by chaos and tragedy, ah well.😢

Beowulf is such a great read! Hrothgard is Grendahl's father. That's why he doesn't kill him.
