  1. We regular people are totally sad and discouraged to see how the rules are so different for politicians, there's no rules for them.they don't pay for anything they do. We go to jail.

  2. Failure to comply with laws for lower judges will open that scotus judge up to Federal and State prosecution, and citizen lawsuits. Penalty is immediate removal, jail time equal to10x whatever would be the sentence of a lower judge. Highest Court Gets Highest Penalty.

  3. Lawmakers are the ones who breaks the law . Mitch McConnell Grassley along with others pulled Clarence Thomas into the SCOTUS . Now they're the same ones who could reprimand IMPEACHMENT for Clarence Thomas acknowledgement of his wife Ginni Thomas involvement in January 6th insurrection . In Peru congress is bipartisan and all voted to impeachment Castillo . USA 🇺🇸 hear the bells ringing America 🇺🇸 is the strongest country and we the ppl must not sit back and watch what our republicans gop is allowing Donald Trump to remain the party leader . America 🇺🇸 is going to have blood all over this country if , elected politicians keep shaking hands with Qanon …. Oathkeepers …. WS …. Neo-Nazi …. Antisemitism .

  4. So long story short, he broke some very important rules, but as always with Supreme Court Justices, the rules carry absolutely no weight and they'll just keep doing what want. Fantastic system we have here.

  5. Boy we screwed up with lifetime appointments for judges, and the SCOTUS can violate law with no consequences. How we gonna fix this mess? As well as the one big ugly political cult we let get out of hand.

  6. The Supreme Court justices do not follow ethics rules. They are untouchable and above the law. That makes them very corrupt. They have no consequences for their actions and you can’t get rid of them. Eliminate lifetime appointments of Supreme Court judges and have a tribunal for crimes committed by these judges.

  7. WHY can't the DOJ enforce this law against a Supreme Cort Justice? Even if there is no penalty, a conviction can greatly aid impeachment. Some may say a conviction on this law would require an impeachment.

  9. Any law is only as good as its ability to be enforced…when you give a "justice" a lifetime appointment and no one to answer to when it comes to the ethics that all other legal practitioners are bound by you get Thomas and Alito and the gutting of the legitimacy of what once was the highest court in the land. The current and wholly un-supreme court needs reforms like term limits, enforceable ethics requirements and accountability to all legal practitioners [on a non-partisan basis] who are to be bound by their rulings. The American people only has confidence in legal institutions that are transparent and held to enforceable ethics requirements- the current un-supreme court can claim neither. They earn a vote of "No Confidence" from this American

  10. Tribe is wrong he says (@4:30) that section 455 states "it shall be unlawful for a justice to do…" 455 DOES NOT STATE UNLAWFUL. It states, " (a)Any justice, judge, or magistrate judge of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned.

(b)He shall also disqualify himself in the following circumstances:…"

  11. yeah…he broke the law…so??…big deal…there's no law for him…these people have worked for 200 years to get this country where it is…and they have it right where they want it…rich people,…politicians…everybody in washington…no law for them…laws are to put people away and profit off of it…laws are only for everybody else …no law in washington….just crooks….

  12. THE ONLY ONE WHO WOULD KNOW IF JUSTICE THOMAS WAS INFLUENCED BY ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE CONSTITUTION IS JUSTICE THOMAS. WHATEVER YOU ARE BLATHERING ON ABOUT OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T RISE TO THAT LEVEL…OR AN HONEST MAN MIGHT HAVE RECUSED HIMSELF…BUT BEING HONEST JUSTICE THOMAS DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.
