  2. Why would you have been lucky to bet Gane as the favorite? I don’t think he knows how this works.. if your picking Gane it makes more sense to bet on him as the underdog and his odds will keep moving that way up until the fight

  3. Only reason the odds are that close is because Jones hardly ever fights.
I had hope for Gane but seeing his last he proved to me he doesn't have the ring IQ to beat Jones.I don't think Jones is brilliant of mind he is just smarter than the rest of the fighters he faces.
if Jones had of been doing 2 fights a year every year the odds would be a landslide in favor of jones.I can't stand Jones so I hope he loses but I doubt it.
Haha i grew up around race horses but Standardbred not Thoroughbred.

  4. 🤣 … let's call him… Rusty! That was good Chael. Your right he is rusty without taking anything from jones. Its the truth. Let's see how jones proves that statement wrong

  5. Let me put it this way Jones did NOTHING versus Reyes but still won because Reyes did nothing but circle around waiting and more waiting. This is what these guys do lots of waiting and outside pretend boxing this all favors Jones even a bad rusty Jones.

  6. NEVER give out betting advice but guys you gotta throw at least a little bit on Jon. As much as you're comfortable losing bc it's still betting but wow, he should easily be -400. Great value

  7. Does Chael understand how betting works? Why would betting on Gane as a favorite be better than betting on him as an underdog? If you think he's gonna win, you risk more to win less on a favorite.

  8. I like Gane by UD, maybe even late stoppage. He'll be careful early, win rounds with standup peppering the slower, smaller fighter, then continue doing just that for all five rounds, or stop him late with the accumulated damage.

  9. Why was Chael talking about Jones gaining 30lbs as if it was from inactivity and unrelated to going up in weight class? Either way it is kind of funny how committed Chael is to talking shit on Jones.

Hard to say who wins that fight btw. You would think Jones would lose. He almost lost to Taco eyes Reyes the last time he fought, but it’s Jon Jones.

If I had to make a bet I’d say this will be Jones’ first loss though. We’ve seen what happens when elite fighters go up in weight class with Adesanya. And Jones does look sort of fat and out of shape compared to Ciryl Gane.

I’d go with Gane with the win by TKO in the final round. Stylistically I can see Jones just taking a beating and not quitting so it can go to a decision or to later rounds.
