Hi from th UK! Loving seeing you guys live and signed up for your email updates. You will love Alaska – we have just booked our 4th cruise there for next year. When you book you need to check the times in port on the itinerary to make sure you get at least a whole day in each one. There is so much to do in Victoria so a couple of hours at night will not be enough for you, If you are doing excursions in the mornings, book direct with the excursion company as it will be cheaper. If you are doing excursions that run into the afternoons, book with the ship so if you are late back, the ship has to wait for you. If you le me know the ports you are visiting I can recommend things not to be missed.

My sister and I did an Alaskan cruise in the beginning of June. We loved it! I definitely recommend the White Pass Railroad in Skagway, whale watching and the Gold Creek Salmon Bake in Juneau, and the lumberjack show in Ketchikan. Bring a few layers to wear and a backpack to put your stuff in it for the port day.
