    I am hoping to work with you to secure an Allocation for a ZO6.

    I was on the Octane Hour of December 4th with Mike, Darren and Mark. You were also in the Chat and asked me to email you.

    I sent an email and hope you had an opportunity to see it. I know you must receive a number of emails on a daily basis, so perhaps you have not had an opportunity to respond.

    I’m 70 and have been retired for 14 years. I worked as a “LEO” Law Enforcement Officer for 33 years.

    If you recall the Chat, I have been on the MacMulkin ZO6 list since November of 2022 (Started out at 1673 and now down to Number 311) 😊and also since that time with my local Chevrolet Dealership where I got my 2022 Red Mist Z51 HTC. The Octane Hour Guys and some of the subscribers in the Chat also said contact Rick. So that’s exactly what I did.

    I too am one that perhaps time is not on my side. In 2018 I was diagnosed with Type 2 Pancreatic Cancer. I had a Whipple Operation in April 2019 and I’ve been on Chemo since 2019. My current treatment is on Chemo for 2 weeks and off for 2 weeks. It seems to me that I’m on a “Maintenance Dose”, but it works out to being 26 scheduled treatments per year. In my 6th year, it’s really wearing me down. I too am in Pennsylvania in the Altoona area. (I imagine you saw our County Courthouse in the National News this month – December 2024 – as our area was where the NYC alleged shooter of the United Healthcare CEO was captured.) Great job by those who saw the alleged shooter and the Altoona Police Department for making the arrest!

    I hope to get a ZO6 before my illness makes me incapable of driving or I lose my life to the cancer.
    I’m also hopeful of getting the nearly impossible allocation for a 2025 ZR1. My wife and I have discussed the matter and want to purchase either car.

    Thanks for the Great Vlogs you produce. I particularly enjoy the Tech Tuesday Segments and seeing the beautiful Corvettes. Congratulations on 30 years of selling Corvette and that you get so much enjoyment from owning your C8. There certainly something special about owning a Corvette.
    I’ve had one or more Corvettes since 1981. My first was a 1976 C3 Coupe that had only 5,000 miles on it. I had a 1981 Z28 Camaro ordered, but saw the son of the Owner of the Dealership while out one night. He told me about the Pristine Used Corvette they had in their showroom and I bought it the next day and I canceled my order. The Dealership wasn’t mad about the cancellation, they had a buyer for the Z28 that liked my build. She ended up buying the Z28.

    So Rick, I am hopeful of working with you to obtain my 5th Corvette.

    I’ve had a C3 1981 to 2019, C4 2004 to 2009, C6 2009 to 2022, C8 2022 to Present.
    We plan to keep the 2022, my wife loves the Red Mist HTC!

I sold cars for nearly 44 years and know firsthand how challenging it is to earn the trust of the Consumer and then watch the process until completion. You are who you are and that is exactly what makes you so strong in car sales. Personality, honesty, knowledge and follow thru is a rare combo in Salespeople. Keep up the great job and have a healthy and happy and prosperous 2025.
