  2. Hey Sarah! I haven't commented in so, so long… but I'm 31 and know exactly what traditional chocolate advent calendars you mean! I don't think we have them in NZ, either. Sucks so much they aren't around much anymore 🙁

  6. Children get overwhelmed with too many toys to play with so pull everything out but don’t actually play with them, limit what they have out each time 🙂 also I don’t think those calendars exist anymore, never had chocolate in them when I was a child just pictures n I loved them x

  8. If your still wanting the advent calendars I know that boots do a design your own advent calendar where you just pick a picture and I prints it on the front of an calendar . Not sure if it’s what you want but deffo check boots photo online. x

  26. I think the fire needs a surround/mantel or something to frame it. You can get a chunky oak wood mantels/a mantel beam that goes above the fire, a lot of modern fires have them these days. Then you can put your garlands and any other ornaments along it, and a nice mirror above it to fill the space, I feel like fires look very unfinished without something framing/ making a centre piece out of them!! x

  28. I’m 31 almost 32 and I know which advent calendar you mean but I’ve not seen them for years 😭 it’s devastating because I loved them.

    Also Milas reaction to the tree being turned on made me cry my eyes out 🥲 so special xx
