  1. The construction of the statue of Jesus Christ contravenes EXODUS 20:4-5

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any GRAVEN IMAGE or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them."

    IS JESUS CHRIST GOD?

Kindly examine the following Biblical verses:

(Isaiah 45:21) …. And there is NO other God besides Me, A JUST God and a SAVIOR; There is NONE besides Me.

(Isaiah 45:22) LOOK TO ME, and be SAVED, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is NO other.

A simple analysis of the aforementioned verses reveals the following facts:

    1) There is only ONE God, the Singular, the Supreme and the Absolute.

    2) God is JUST, He protects and upholds the Universal Principles of Justice.

Would it be appropriate for God to subject an INNOCENT man to a gory and gruesome death by nailing him on the Cross for the task of forgiving sins of humankind? It would amount to a flagrant violation of God’s own Universal Principles of Justice.

    3) God, the Omnipotent, the Omniscient, is the SOLE Savior of humankind. In order to attain salvation, humankind has ONLY to “Look To Him”, that is, to pray to God and repent. Consequently humankind is commanded to refrain from committing further sins. There is NO necessity for God to INCARNATE Himself into Human Flesh just to forgive the sins of humankind.

And Jesus, looking upon them, said, “With men it is IMPOSSIBLE, but not with God; for with God ALL things are POSSIBLE.” (Mark 10:27)

Furthermore there is NO rational reason for God the Compassionate, to OUTSOURCE or DELEGATE the simple task of forgiving sins of humankind to His subordinate created being by subjecting him to an atrocious and horrific death, being nailed on the cross.

The aforementioned verses that depict God as the sole savior are further reinforced by Isaiah 43:11:

“I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is NO SAVIOR.”

Mark 12:28-30 categorically affirm the singular and absolute nature of God:

Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, Which is the first commandment of all? Jesus answered him, ‘The first of all the commandments is: Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God, the Lord is ONE. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

The Bible says that Jesus DENIED he is God. Jesus spoke to a man who had called him ‘good,’ asking him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good except God ALONE." (Luke 18:19)

And he said to him, "Why are you asking me about what is good? There is ONLY ONE who is GOOD; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments." (Matthew 19:17)

“I can of myself do NOTHING. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is righteous, because I do NOT seek my own will but the will of the FATHER who SENT me.” (John 5:30)

“For I have not spoken on my own authority; but the FATHER who SENT me gave me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.” (John 12:49)

“I am going to the Father, for my Father is GREATER than I.” (John 14:28)

“But of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but ONLY the FATHER.” (Mark 13:32)

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he PRAYED. (Mark 1:35)

Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and PRAYED that if possible the hour might pass from him. (Mark 14:35)

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and PRAYED. (Luke 5:16)

If Jesus is God, should he be praying to himself? It is obvious that when someone prays to God, he is SUBORDINATE to God.

“And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you FORSAKEN me?)” (Mark 15:34).

This verse where Jesus is portrayed as wailing such desperate cries – if we accept for the sake of argument that they did occur – proves that the person crucified was NOT WILLING to die on the cross for the sins of humankind. More importantly the passage contains clear evidence that the person crucified could not possibly have been Jesus Christ, as such desperate cries and panic do not befit a prophet of God, let alone one who is CLAIMED to be God.

  4. Jesus probably do not like to be idolized and revered as he is like us he said in the bible, must obey God the father. He is our brother! During his youth where he got lost in the Synagogue such that Mother Mary and saint Joseph were looking for him. Jesus said Am I not with my brothers , sisters and mothers? Even the apostles called him rabbi or teacher not God which the christian priest has said to be God. Even the body of Moses was fought between the devil and St. Michael so that people will not make statues and venerate it they say.
