  1. I also got HO scale trains for Christmas. 1 Atlas RS-3 Central of Georgia, 1 brass Hallmark Fairbanks-Morse H12-44 Central of Georgia, 4 freight cars Central of Georgia & 3 MOW Maintenance of Way freight cars (1 Kitchen car, 1 Maintenance freight car & 1 working Caboose) which are by True Scale. Day after Christmas I got another Atlas Fairbanks-Morse H15-44. Looks like you got a nice haul for Christmas. Hope you have a Happy New Year. Cheers from eastern Tennessee

  2. Great video, really imformative, helpful and entertaining.
As a newby returning to this hobby sadly I have the same problem with 2 Bachmann class 37's I purchased earlier in the year as your Metals grey 37. Both rattle terribly. If you put them on speed lock and hold the sides they are ok. I also can't quiet down them as I only have a basic Bachmann controller. The 2nd one is a really noisy runner with sound switched off. Motor or gears I thought.
I have a end to end layout its worse going into the settrack radius 2 curves but also bad through the opposing points just before the bend. If you gently assist it by hand the noise dous stop.
Really disappointed nearly £600 paid for my favourite loco that brings so much happy memories as a lad when I got a Hornby one for Christmas and watching the real ones.
My 47 sound great but so loud they give me a headache and one of the 24 is abit sound rattley.
They all run brilliantly, and look great but now I'm having to pay someone to up grade to decent quality speakers, fix and adjust settings for me.
Am expecting to much. I went Bachmann over AS for the 37's because the early production quality problems of the AS 37.
Appreciate a follow up and solution, if you find one.
    Cheers Mike.
