  1. Two singers can bring tears to my eyes just hearing them sing from the soul: David Phelps and Chris Stapleton. Anointed.
My wife walked in asking why I was teary-eyed listening to this. Vince Gill brought me to country music in the 80s when this song evoked strong emotion from within me. His voice is so unique. Chris Stapleton is so unique and soulful in a different but even stronger way. I never imagined I would hear this song sang by anyone that would rival and surpass Gill. Simply beautiful. Every time I hear him cover classic songs, he knocks it out of the park.

  2. When this song first came out I hated all country music and I mean hated country but that changed when I heard Vince Gill sing this song and I can honestly say if I heard Chris Stapleton sing then I would of felt the same. Chris has a voice that just grabs your heart strings and demands that ears and heart listen to what he is saying. I’d love to see both men perform live.

  3. Definitely me! This man's voice brings me peace when I'm staring downing the neck of heartache, pain, and diversity. His voice gives me courage when Im bathed in complete fear. His voice makes me smile a smile so lit with contentment, it wipes the tears off my cheeks. 🥹. Thanks Chris Stapleton your Musial soul has helped me through so much in my life. Please don't ever stop using your gift or stop sharing it with the world. Good Bless your beautiful ❤️.

  4. I don't know what it is about Chris Stapleton's bluesy, raspy voice but the guy is brilliant! The way he can make songs his own from Metallica to Vince Gill to Justin Timberlake to Prince is something only a handful of artists could ever do. Makes me emotional.

  8. Just saw Chris here in Jacksonville, FL and all I can say is WOW! I don't think I've ever cried with emotions at a concert, but that isn't the case anymore. He touches parts of your body that you didn't even know you had.

  10. I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. The holly spirit is guiding me and I will start preaching in God’s name one day to bring this gift of true love and happiness to less fortunate and lost souls.Amen ❤❤❤❤🙏😇
