Simms thinks the Niners might trade Trey for a mid-round pick. Simms wouldn't be comfortable with Brock and Trey as numbers one and two. Simms says Brock is okay but it's the system that makes him look so good: "Purdy has no elite trait." And he gets paid for this nonsense?

no matter who's our QB no one can Win without an O-Line that's big enough to Protect your QB whether it's Tom Brady – Brock Purdy – Trey or Garoppolo!!! we need a QB w/ a solid O-Line period otherwise don't just hope that us Fans are exited at all about having an awesome Defense and no Championship to show for??????
Trey is a really good dude, and a talented, if not completely polished player. That said, Brock Purdy looks like a much more mobile version of Drew Brees. I get that's very high praise, but I just mean in terms of playing style, poise, accuracy, not a cannon of an arm, but plenty good enough to make most throws. Brock adds the element of improvisation though that even a prime Brees never had, and that's the exciting thing about what his future still holds

For the life of me, I just can't understand all the Trey hate. Left and right so many media and analyst dump on him. He's already down, he was the starter, lost it, never complained, has only been super supportive and great teammate since he's entered the league. Hasn't had much experience or playing time, that has been the truth from the beginning, now we need to trade him for lack of experience??? That's the problem, he needs experience… What is there not to get??? Makes no sense.
