You guys clearly don’t take your eyes off the ball when grading, cause if you did, you’d clearly realize J Lo & Fields accuracy isn’t in the same category at all & you’d also see J Los eye manipulation & his ability to move the opposition to make the easy throws, look in fact, “easy”
Episode sucks….Sam's not wearing rugby gear.
Tight end being unathletic isn’t on Jordan love. He back peddles and stumbles for no reason whatsoever. Should’ve walked in for a TD.
PEOPLE LOVE THE NEW YORK JETS. Over 22 million people watched the jets on monday night.. Final game of the world series got 11 million viewers. final game of the n b a finals, got 13 million. So a regular season football game beat out the world series and the n b a finals
I bet Sam stormed into the office when he saw Bryce young’s putrid grade 😂😂😂
513CINCINNATI BENGALS🐱LET'S SHOW THE 🌎 WHO'S WE REALLY ARE😅
Y’all should really incorporate the process and the decision more into your grades because Love was excellent at getting the ball to the right player and making impact throws compared to fields who just took the easiest short passes he could get. He had good comp % but low impact plays. Fields wouldn’t have made half the throws love made if he was in the same pocket
I'm a Bears fan. I, 100%, believe in Fields and think the ship will get turned, but there's one scenario they can move on from Fields mid-season:
Basically
1. if the Bears are 1-7 but Fields is playing awesome and the defense sucks still
2. If the Falcons are 5-2 then everything for them clicks except their QB
-Justin Fields is the perfect QB for Arthur Smith's schemes. He's perfect behind that line and Kyle Pitts and Drake London with the ground and pound. The Falcons made a hard push for him before the draft.
With the QB class coming out and 3 years of a rookie wasted, the Bears could get 2024 2nd & 3rd Rd picks and 2025 2nd & 3rd Rd picks. That's the value. If the Falcons are motivated, maybe more.
Bears restart the rebuild with a new Rookie QB contract.
Again, I like Fields, but that's how they "coul" move on mid season
MILES GARRETT SHOULD WINS THAT'S I THINK THIS YEAR'S😅
Yall are just flat out disrespecting love. Love had three touchdown throws and was amazing on third downs
Chris Jones SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AT THAT'S GAME PERIOD😮
Love was pressured on 2 of 30 dropbacks and was 15-27.
Coming from a packers fan, I agree that J-Lo didn't have a HOF performance. However, I was just looking for him to be competent, have poise, and step up in big moments. He checked all the boxes for me. I'm just looking for a guy who shows that he has his own style but obviously taking things from Aaron. QB expectation and GB QB are totally different and I think that's why we were told to temper expectations. I'm just happy he doesn't look like a bum and has room to grow. *IMO
PFF grading rubric is stupid lol. Every play is judged subjectively. This play was 'easy' so it shouldn't count lol. If the team around a player plays well then that players score is lower. If Musgrave had handled that play better his score would have been much higher? It just makes no sense.
Jordan Love made it easy for himself with his decision making, but scored lower for that because the throws were easy. I would prefer that to a qb who makes amazing throws to the wrong reads, which this scoring system would grade higher.
Chicago homer
Great analysis on the Bears JF. Do an analysis on the Bears OC and the Bears DC, both looked hopeless! Flus not knowing what his offense is doing is a horrible look.
How do the bears not blitz at all when u got a first time starter in
J. love playing
I understand he didn't have an amazing performance, but I still disagree with the grade quite a bit. Being almost perfect in key situations (3rd and 4th down) should matter a lot more, not to mention both TD's to Doubs were perfect throws. Also, Love didn't underthrow Musgrave that badly (a minor underthrow to a wide open receiver is a good idea). Musgrave decided to start backpedaling and fall over after catching the ball rather than just finish running his route and scoring.
How is the Musgrave catch a negative play? He did not panic on the fumble and showed the poise to get the pass off. He could have just fallen on it and then it would be negative. It should be positive.
I think one thing that doesn't get talked about enough with the Bears is their talent evaluation. Sure they've had some bad coaching and some strange processes at times but even in the moments where the process is okay the player is not good. For example taking an OT to help Fields with their 1st rounder WA a good idea, but I don't think the guy they took is good. Coming back around to the D line in the 2nd round is a good idea but the player they chose leaves some things to be desired. Even trading pick 32 for an established WR isn't a terrible idea but the WR they traded for is terrible. If they had just gotten better players with the moves they have made we would have a better idea of who is to blame and what to change.
If that leak pass by Jordan Love to Musgrave is graded as a negative than I can't trust you're guys grading or understanding on what he's trying to do there. Musgrave was open by 20 yards in all directions (not an exaggeration). He lofted it up to make sure not to overthrow him. If Musgrave just doesn't stumble around like a 5 year old trying catch their first pop up.. He walks in for the easy score.
Ther thing that these PFF graders dont understand or account for is the manipulation the QB does of a defender. Sam and his buddy like laughing about how easy it is to throw a 5 yard pass to Aaron Jones who does the rest. What they are missingbis that Jordan Love intetionally manipulated the linebacker by looking to his right and waited for him to clear before flicking the ball perfectly in stride for Jones to house it. Something they would understand or know how to grade.
Did the Chiefs really play hardball though? They offered a substantial raise and the clear 2nd highest APY contract at DT with high % guaranteed. But he wanted Aaron Donald level apy in his new money.
Tonyan Played in the game. He was #18. IF YOU ACTUALLY Graded the game you would have noticed him miss a block early on.
Justin completed 2 deep passes to Mooney, both on the right side of the field, one for a TD. And I believe the other deep pass was the Stop Route to Cole Kmet in the end zone..
…
Come on PFF Let's ACTUALLY DO YOUR JOB and comment on what you educate yourself on.
PFF massively overrates what Ryan Poles has done, (the smart decision of trading 1.1) when they have fields does not make up for all the other headaching moves. Also phili (and indi now, and Baltimore at the time) all went out of their way to put coaching staffs together to work with their super athletic developmental QBs, there is a blueprint that works but the bears coaching staff is inept.
