  1. Could see it a mile off like Chris says, when paddy crashed that old Lambo in the wet prodding the throttle, could tell he was clueless and hadn’t learned that type of car before. It was on the road for 30 years and lasted minutes with him says it all

  2. Wow. Props to Chris Harris – I was never aware that he'd raised severe concerns before 'that accident' happened.
I hope the head of Health & Safety also lost their job – they should've been on trial Grievous Bodily Harm by Gross Negligence.
I was never a fan of the revised show – Top Gear had been flogging a dead horse for a couple of years even before the original trio left.
The BBC should've killed the show then, but it takes guts to kill a cash cow.

  3. Sounds like the producers of the show weren't actually car people (were they even physicists?) and were putting human beings through a fair amount of uninformed risk for public consumption? Who the hell thought that was a good idea..? 😅

  4. The BBC is sadly now everything wrong with modern Britain. It should be closed down and people shouldn't be forced to pay the tv licence to pay for nonces and liberal mouthpieces

  5. I really feel for Chris. Top Gear was a dream job for him, after so many years as a journo on Evo mag etc, and then making a name for himself on YouTube. He was the only good thing about 'post Clarkson' Top Gear. The show was shite though. All the best to him and looking forward to seeing more on the Collecting Cars YouTube channel.

  6. Chris should be ashamed, Fred should've have professionals and the guy who is the host of the show making sure safety was followed, say what you want about Clarkson he would never allow a co host to get into this situation and play it off like he had no power to stop it. Chris is scum

  7. I filmed with Chris a couple of months ago and he’s a very down to earth, charismatic guy. His head’s clearly in the right place and it’s sad to see how this incident effected so many.

  8. The original cast where a great combo. But have to say I really enjoyed chris, paddy and Freddies stint as hosts. AND JUST watched the episode with the wooden gocart that chris was talking about. Chris did himself a bad roll/crash in that one and paddy crashed into a haybale barrier and done himself good in that crash.. chris was right to flag health and safety..
All the best chris and hope to see u back on telly soon . Great presenter..

  9. Let me tell you Chris, no one holds you responsible, in the slightest. I’ve for a long time been very concerned that your cohosts were inexperienced in cars and would eventually hurt themselves. I’ve also no desire to watch someone drive cars when they don’t have the very best driving skills, like you do. This was always going to happen and it sounds like you did your best to stop it happening, does not surprise me that the BBC didn’t listen. I’d be angry if I was you, but do not feel guilty in the slightest!

  10. Did anyone actually watch TopGear after the trio left? I didn't, after the trio left I cancelled my TV licence just because it was the last TV show I watched on TV, every clip I saw online with the replacements looked generic and boring, these guys didn't kill TopGear, they just jump on board a sinking ship that couldn't be saved.
