Recently, an American tourist visiting Hengyang City in Hunan Province, China, had an encounter with a Chinese veteran on the street. The veteran, looking serious and speaking with hostility, began questioning the tourist:

  1. I spent forteen years in mainland China, I used to wear my original field jacket with a 101 patch and 2nd ID patch all the time in Jilin, the old CCP soldier's sitting around in their old Army coats would look at me like that one must of got away.

  2. They're just angry because factories shut down because no one wants their crap made products anymore and have moved to other countries to have them produced. I use to feel sorry for them and their plight but now I couldn't give a damn. Can't stand them!

  3. This rabid ignorance of history and lack of knowledge of the root causes of their country’s problems, are all a byproduct of years of communist indoctrination. In turn this breeds irrational violence as the little reds grow increasingly frustrated with their lives in
mainland China. They don’t have the freedom to verbally criticize their government the true source of their society’s problems. As the government also encourages them to blame foreign governments in order to shift the blame, foreign nationals become easy targets. The rise in negative social energy has no real release and the Chinese will turn on each other because the CCP has such complete control over its society. An implosion seems imminent, but exactly how it will play out is anyone’s guess!

  4. Ha ha… CCP fan boy bought all the propaganda hook line and sinker… I mean they do need a scapegoat but the reality is it's always been their own fault especially because of the corruption and the CCP.

  5. The belt and road initiative; the expansion of their military; poor economic and diplomatic policies ; lax banking and housing standards; corruption and poor decisions made during the covid19 outbreak have all gutted the Chinese economy to the point of no return.

  7. I bet the Chinese veteran never even been to HK. HK's problem is the self creation of the CCP when they imposed the National Security law (Spy Law) in Beijing and imposed on HK. The law, in essence, negated all the freedom of speech Hong Kong people enjoyed during the 100+ years of British Colonial rule. Now anything people say can be contrued as against China's national security. Anyone can be arrested and many arrests has been made, on spy charges against the state and then the victims are transferred to China for prosecution. Proves are not needed. Foreigners and locals alike, can be arrested based on the National Security law. Of course the Chinese veteran, most likely ignorant of the law, or urged on by the CCP propaganda, took it out on tourists. Good thing this American tourist didn't reply or argue. Otherwise it could have escalated into an international incident and detained for being a spy. Who know, being an American, that's precisely what the CCP wanted to happen. The US State Department has already put out warnings to avoid visiting China. People should heed.

  8. Because 'loyalty to china' in CCP-land is demonstrated by psychotically violent xenophobia and fascist nationalistic fervour.
Doublethink is alive and well in China. George Orwell would be proud of them, living his vision of the future.

  9. Watching from Hong Kong, the mainland people always get the biased stories from their media. The 2019 Hong Kong Protests complete Hong Kong Government's fault, nothing involved by Western countries. By the way, the local assume people can understand their Mandarin Accent. And assume everyone in Western country would be a representative with their government.
