The aeronautical cyber-theft route for China has failed, and now the C919 price is above the Airbus, since China must pay 75% of the price for imported components whose IP it couldn't steal. Who on Earth would not buy an Airbus, unless forced to buy the C919 for CCP-determined reasons?
Well, with that percentage, I can see why they want their own. First, your people need to have the will. See, that's our secret. There are no magic unicorns in the U.S. making us what we are.
Or as the Chinese propaganda say: the C919 BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG airplane
Alibaba liked this
They ‘were’ made overseas – they’re about to be reverse engineered
So not domestically made. 🙄
Imagine walking into an American Airlines plane and seeing the Made In China text.
It’ll be made of plastic
They can make anything that they want. That doesnt mean anyone is going to buy it. The only way it will be used is if china forces airlines based in china to use them.
NO WORRIES.CHINA CAN PRODUCE ANYTHING.MATTER OF TIME
Wonder if they ordered all the parts from Temu?😂😂
Boeings aren't even close to being domestically made either.
You fly in it.
Who will dare to take this plane..the most importance parts ( engine/ navigation system…) not by China..
Plus make in China quality…
They’re all made all over the world. China better behave themselves if they want in on the market share
It's now like a year since the debut of the C919.
Did i just smell some Tofu Dreg Product from CCP?
Nobody buying it made of tofu dreg tech
Bad Chinese o rings brought down 7 astronauts in our more deadly nasa disaster. Chinese O Rings!
You know what they say if it's made in China. It could probably kill you.
Yes ,,,China has the technology,,, they have printers to copy blue prints and do reverse engineering
Even if it is all made in china it still isn't. Because they stole all of the technology.
I would not want to fly in a plane that's made in china
China definitely has the technology to make everything in house. They actually started working on their own engines around the Trump era probably before then. Chinese have even built domestically made engines for their fighter jets.
I'd trust a single engine 737 over this
Overtaking Airbus & Boeing by COMAC via C919? Yeah, definitely, it is in the making. Kudos to China Aviation👍
The thing is other commercial aircraft manufacturers don’t label their aircraft as made in France or made in America. They have manufacturing plants all over the world and I don’t hear people saying “my country made that” when they see those aircraft.
You don’t want to be on a plane made 100% in China. That plane has a better chance of succeeding with foreign built parts, more consumer confidence.
I see this jet being used to replace all the sales that Russia had in the past before being picked up by western airlines and other startups airlines
I think I read the problem was they don’t have the technology to build balanced components or have the metal logical knowledge for the blades
It would be interesting what COMAC plans over the next 10 years … annual ramp up rates of C919 deliveries, when will C929 be ready and its’ annual ramp up rate, when will all foreign subsystems subject to cutoff be replaceable with domestic products, the ramp up rate of sales to foreign airlines.
Fact, none of aircraft is 100% made in one country.
The biggest problem is the made in China bit 😉
Don’t make a made in china jet
There is no 100% anywhere.
Even the big players could not claim 100% made in their respective countries even after decades of production.
