Chilling in the City MIX – A Blend of Hip Hop, Jazz, and Brazilian Beats

DJ Set recorded on March, 2024 on the island of Florianópolis in southern Brazil

One of my favorite ways to listen to music is driving my car alone, with the windows closed, aimlessly wandering through the city. Music seems to give meaning to the buildings, the streets, the people, and the nature that surrounds all this human entanglement. Today’s mix is the result of some of these drives, starting with some Brazilian textures wrapped in hip hop beats, moving on to a bit of jazz and even some house. The set features two of my own tracks, one of which is still unreleased and plays at 47:40, and the other is a Nina Simone remix that closes the set.
