Children should be taught ‘facts’ rather than ‘political indoctrination’

NSW One Nation leader Mark Latham says a primary school play is attempting to “demonise” Captain Cook by falsely showing he was there when the First Fleet came to Australia.

Mr Latham said the play, which is based on a book by former AFL player Adam Goodes, is “complete fiction” and teachers at the school should be sacked.

“There’s one supreme responsibility for teachers in the New South Wales education system and that is to teach facts,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“Teach knowledge and facts rather than political indoctrination.”

He said if people don’t like Captain Cook, they can run for elected office to make speeches about it.

“Don’t go re-writing Australian history – a complete fabrication of a book by Adam Goodes to indoctrinate these kids for something that’s completely untrue and could well affect them for the rest of their lives,” Mr Latham added.

  1. Climate Change and rising sea levels will make coastal properties and low lying areas impossible to sell or insure.
Banks and insurance companies will not want to take the risk in the future.
People will not be able to sell coastal properties if no one can get a loan or insurance.
Migration will move people away from coastal and low lying areas.
Covid deniers and climate change deniers are the same. Both do not believe in science and experts.
People are selfish and don't want to be bothered with restrictions.
The cost to the economy and individuals will be huge.We need Climate Action NOW.

  2. Um you're a generation too late. They're already at voting age that have already been brainwashed, which is why all this crap is happening now.
And did you know there are Christian schools teaching the kids that they are not a human being, but an individual made by god.

  3. What do you mean the 1st fleet had nothing to do with Ct Cook? Cook declared the land "Terra Nullius". It clearly wasn't, as there were people living on it. What the 1st fleet did to those people as a result of Cook's misclassification was unspeakable. Their descendants have a right to be a little miffed about it.

  4. Amen! Straight facts in all subjects. I am very political and opinionated but my students will never here me take a side or push an agenda! They will only here me say that every single soul needs to be treated like a human being with love and respect. That's it.

  5. Oh? So you dont like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation money or Disney or Crayola pushing the SEL, DEI, or CRT in your schools? The ones that paid for it? Or the many CEO's and Foundations pushing influence? Here is an idea.. for the whole world! Quit starving your school systems and teachers.

  6. You don't really want that. The govt itself is imaginary. It's not real. It's a group of criminals who's power is secured by violence. If schools didn't indoctrinate children govt wouldn't exist.

  8. OK. Well, they'd have to be home-schooled , not watch TV and not listen to or watch MSM on any platform, always question the narrative from ANY and ALL sources never taking it at face value, and have parents that do the same, and are currently awake to what is false, and what is true and have a desire for the truth. Those people are quite rare from what I can tell.

  9. So they were non binary and they were the child of a republican politician who disagrees strongly with the rights of 🏳️‍🌈? No wonder they are crazy, they’ve been raised to hate themselves. Wouldn’t be the first time someone killed those they should identify with because of self hate. It was not a coincidence it was a gay club. The fact they are non binary is more convincing of that.
