  1. Show us the deep data on Purdy to prove against him! Watch the games and analyze his throws, you would see he’s actually better than at first glance. But I don’t think he’s the MVP, but Dak isn’t either. If it’s not Purdy then How come you aren’t fighting for CMC? I hear a lot it’s Shanahan but you won’t give him coach of the year either…

  2. Can someone please explain to me how the push is "bad for entertainment" when the Eagles have played in the FIVE most watched games this season outside of Thanksgiving games? Explain it to me like I'm a child.

  3. QBs you would take before Purdy not knowing what else your team looks like:
Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Herbert, Lamar, Hurts, Stroud, TLaw, Dak, Russell wilson, Kirk Cousins, Kyler, Matt Stafford, Tua. ALL NO DOUBTERS.
QBs I would take before Purdy: Justin fields, Josh Dobbs, Gardner Minshew, Baker, Jared Goff.
That's 18 other QBs. 13 no doubters ahead of him.
    MVP my a$$ bro

  4. I’ve always thought the best way to look at MVP is, if each team could take one player from another team (for just one year), who would they take?

In a year where all top QB are similar, then the MVP might be another player.

What teams would pick Purdy over other 49ers? Maybe a few. The Jets, Cincinnati, maybe a few more. Most would take one of their skill players.

  5. Kyler over Brock is just delusional. Kyler doesn’t study, isn’t a good teammate, is hurt often, is not as accurate, and doesn’t make the best decisions.
Having an MVP year doesn’t mean you’re the best player in the league. All Nick is arguing for is for Mahomes to get it every year until he isn’t the best player in the league.
Nick is getting crapped on for their argument for two major reasons, how rated Brock as average, which the stats clearly show he isn’t. If any QB could do it, Jimmy G would have been tops in the league too. But as Nick loved to argue, Jimmy’s stats were always average and sometimes below average in the same system with the same talent. Brock is clearly putting up elite level numbers. Second reason, he makes the absolutely stupid argument of Brock can’t win without his weapons. Well, if Brock can’t play because he lost 2 games without his weapons…then what is Jalen since he lost 2 games WITH his weapons? Teams and players have bad games, matchups matter, rest, and other factors come into play. Only 2 teams have made it through a season without losing.

  6. He’s making the argument of who is the better player, compared to Brock. MVP is more about the player having the best season. You naming all these QBs that are out for the season who you would pick first, but what does that have to do with the MVP 😂. Nicks a clown and is just using Brock for click bait at this point

  7. I notice Nick never gets around to explaining why if the Eagles D is so bad and the Niners personnel are so good he picked the Eagles to win the game.

Also, people who think Purdy should be MVP don’t talk about Tua because his numbers are hands down worse than Purdy’s. DAK’S numbers are better than Tua’s. And unlike McCaffery (who is an excellent player, do not get this twisted) Tyreek Hill actually is on pace to breaking the receiving yards record. Now, is Tua in contention? Could he theoretically win if he balls out the last 5 weeks and passes Dak and Purdy? Of course. But unlike Nick, most Purdy supporters are actually objective. Also I wouldn’t take more than 2 of the guys he named over Brock.

  8. The Chiefs are very Desperate also, It sure looks like this Isn't their YEAR. I would be Amazed if the Chiefs Right the Ship, Honestly. The Issues are too much for Andy Reid to Overcome, The Wide receivers are just not Pro – Material, They just got it wrong in the WR Portion of the Draft & free Agency.

  9. Do everybody a favor and give the whole Brock Purdy conversation a rest. He’s played a yr, had surgery and having a great yr. End of story. He’s not elite yet but who cares. Please stop for your and everyone’s mental health.

  10. Purdy's raw stats are pretty good. It's in the advanced stats where he really shines and Nick would know that if he was actually doing his homework on this guy.

The only strong argument against Purdy for MVP is "on tape sometimes he makes bad throws" and "he does not yet have the pedigree to be called the 49ers best offensive player." The first one holds no real water against the results. The second will hold no water after the end of this year, when he finishes with a top 5 season of all time in adjusted net yards per attempt and leads one of the most efficient EPA/dropback offenses ever recorded. MVP or not, it is only a matter of time before Purdy is accepted as an elite player.

  11. Nick's entire point about "the Colts wouldnt have traded the 4th pick for Purdy" is dumb for a lot of reasons. But chief among them is the fact that it proves Bru's point about Nick disrespecting Purdy because of his draft position.
