  1. Im getting so irritated at people hating on the chiefs for this seeding situation. Acting like we have no right for the 1 seed when we were the 2 seed and the bengals were winning. “But they lost to the bills and bengals!” Yet we had the same record as the bills and a better record than the bengals. We all care for damar but if the bills can’t/won’t finish the game, the chiefs have no obligation to just give it up. And it doesn’t even affect the chiefs either. Ravens and patriots as well.

  2. This is a big game for the Chiefs. They have to be worried about this game. Without doubt the Raiders are getting healthy. The Chiefs have been playing down to their opponents. This could be a great game.

  3. The problem I see with this game is it would be EXTREMELY convenient for the entire NFL community if the Chiefs lose this game. I would expect the game to be Chiefs against Raiders and a very highly groomed referee crew. I can't see the refs not doing everything possible to swing this game to the Raiders. It makes so many of the NFL logistics problems just go away. They can do pretty much anything with the Bills/Bengals game and it is much easier to leave the rest of the playoffs alone as they are.

  4. I think it will start off slow but it is the Raiders and Chiefs so it could get going faster then we think but who knows at this point. Even fans of the game are effected by this. We all have heavy hearts for Damar 3. Chiefs should win this one looking at the year for both teams.

  5. For you Chiefs fans demanding the 1 seed …. I like this solution to the situation….

1 seed gets to choose: 1st round bye or homefield advantage.

2 seed will get the other option that the 1 seed didn't take.

This way if you take the bye, you have to travel to the 2 seed or 3 seed…. Or you have homefield, but then have to play an extra game.

I am sure you guys will be fine with that, right?

I even like another scenario that Schefter threw out…. If the Bills or Bengals make the AFCCG against the Chiefs….then the Chiefs have to travel to play the game.

If the Chiefs get trounced out, and the game is between Cincy and Buffalo then play at a neutral site.

I bet I know what your thoughts are on this compromise ….

  6. How is that fair at all? So you take away Buffalo's chance to play for the number one seed? They automatically fall behind a team that they beat? KC went from hoping the Bills didn't win out to just simply having to beat a trash team?
