  1. So I'm a chiefs fan and both our tackles were 1st and 2nd in pressures allowed, yeah he's not worth 20m a year and I'm happy they didn't tag him. Veach won't be held hostage and he wouldn't do this if they didn't think they had a backup plan in place. Veach is the best for a reason, chiefs fans trust him to do the right thing.

  2. Early in the season, PFF had him graded as the 28th out of 39 left tackles. He improved a little bit as the season went on but that doesn't warrant being the highest paid left tackle.

  3. He is a decent LT at best. I am a Chiefs fan and have seen him get beat on many occasions over the last two years. He asked for number 1 left tackle money last year and they franchised him. Since the national sports media is so high on him, they should sign him. I believe they can find a LT in the draft.

  4. The kid just isn’t worth keeping. He is mediocre at best but wants to be paid like he is the best around…
I personally don’t want some kid who would take money from the other positions where we need to see improvement when he is literally worse than the practice squad guys…

Just because your daddy was great doesn’t mean you are

  5. OrLando Brown Jr > 'shouLd be PLaying RIGHT-TackLe, pLus He's pretty bad at giving up QB Pressures . . . I agree with Mike in that Mahomes' Deft SkiLL at aLLuding Pressure artificially infLates the O-Lines' Stats

  6. Florio saying the Chiefs were panicking last offseason … ughhh … no, it was the media who believed the Chiefs were in trouble. Nothing about how Veach drafted and acquired players showed any sense of panic. Seriously.

  7. Brown gives up a LOT of pressures in pass protection. Not worth his contract demands. Better to let him walk than overpay. I trust Reid to find a replacement with a better return on investment.

  8. Poor take, you guys don’t watch much Chiefs ball. He’s serviceable but not good, let alone best in the league. Only way he’s back on the Chiefs this year is at a deep discount.

  9. Orlando is ok. He's not great nor consistent BUT he's a FA at a highly needed position. He has a 75 overall grade by PFF. Some LT needy team will pay him top 10 LT money. It's just business.

  10. Orlando is an awesome run blocker and raised his stock with Ravens run heavy play calling.

Chiefs more focused on passing and Brown was in the Top 5 in QB pressures allowed. Mahomes saved him from going all the way to #1 with his ability to scramble.

Not worth his 20+ million contract asking price and KC fans are well aware of this. Heck, Wylie, who is not that good, punked Hassan Reddick in the SB making less than half of Orlando's asking price.

  11. I saw very little that showed OB wasn't great
You know it's the hardest OL position to work , 15 goes back and then up with his left side blind and so is Orlando to where 15 is going
Yeah we want another Eric Fisher , he just got beat nearly every series
