  1. Every time a team "collapses" Colin it just might be the other team having a lot to do with that. Chiefs were more physical. Do you think Lamar would have "collapsed" if he'd not been pressured all day and the secondary taking away his options? Please.

  2. What a frustrating game for a Ravens fan. Chiefs scored 17, but I think they were just playing situational football, draining time knowing how Ravens were nervous and not playing their football. I have a feeling that if Zay had scored a TD, Chiefs would have answered with a TD the very next drive, turned out they just didn’t need it. Cograts to Chiefs on playing an exellent game. For Ravens this is a step forward and a valuable lesson.

  3. For the last several years you have refused to put respect on the Chiefs, picking the Bills, Ravens and Bengals to win the AFC and you have been wrong more times than you have been right. Choking down those words must have been so hard for you @ColinCowherd LOL!! It's about time you FINALLY admit Lamar is NOT what you have always claimed!!

  4. Media all week praises Lamar and trashes Brock Purdy, Purdy has double the amount playoff wins that Lamar Jackson has, Lamar playing 6 NFL seasons is 2-4 in the playoffs, Lamar has 1324 pass yards 57 completion %, 6 TD's 6 INT's 75 passing rating And Brock Purdy playing in ONLY 25 NFL games and only 2 post seasons is (5-1 record) in the playoffs has a 62.7 completion % 1088 passing yards 5 pass TDs – 1 INT , 101.0 passer rating and 86 rush yards!

  5. Balto didn't run any RPOs. No deep plays to Beckham? Play calling was from outer space. Lamar throwing to the flat? Three tipped balls in a row? If you had told me 5 years ago Lamar still wouldnt' have gone to a superbowl by now, I'd be shocked. And 75 yards of flagrant emotional stupid fouls. They need to grow up.

  6. The Chiefs played pretty much how they played all year… they had no offense or defense the second half. The Ravens went up and down the field and just had TOs and drops. They choked away an easy win in the second half.

  7. I know you’re talking Kansas City and ravens, but also me being a Buffalo Bills fan… even with all of their defensive injuries They have played the best against Kansas City those two teams compete.

  8. As a Bills' fan I am really thrilled to see Chiefs moving on. Truly a dynasty in the making, if not already there, and they deserve it. Come to think of it, Bills competed against Chiefs much better than the dismal Ravens despite a great defense that came around after initial debacle. By comparison – Bills issues are all over – receivers and defense. The latter probably due to injuries.

  9. Why are these clowns keep crowning Lamar as the MVP??!!! Lamar's stats – 3,678 yards, 24 TDs, 7 ints, 64.7 QBR can't touch Brock Purdy's – 4,280 yards, 31 TDs, 11 ints, 72.7 QBR

Brock is better than him in every category and he's definitely better in big games/moments.

    GIVE PURDY THE MVP!!!

  10. Never seen a bigger Lamar apologist and excuse maker outside of Nick Wright than Colin Cowherd. Colin seems happy to place the blame for this game on Monken and Harbaugh for their offensive game plan. Why is it that their offensive game plan for this game wasn’t successful? Because Lamar WON’T WIN YOU A SUPER BOWL WITH HIS ARM AND DECISION MAKING. Period. But Colin and Nick Wright wont point that out. Even Shay and Stephen A weren’t giving Lamar a pass this time around. The Ravens gave an extremely talented RB a big bag to play QB. That’s a problem.

  11. Vivek Ramaswamy: I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall.

  12. Successful head coach's have lost their job because they couldn't get it through the star QBs head that adjusting and playing to your strengths is more important than stats . Aaron Rodgers one Superbowl in 15 years. Mahomas conference championship game 6 years and 4 Superbowls. What do you want a bunch of stats or championship's? If you are mahomas who has said it many times. I play with a Chip on my shoulder i played at Texas tech. Mahomas got his shot and is making the best of it. Scoreboard

  13. The personal foul before the snap was actually a good move. Easier to stop the Chiefs from 1st and 10 than from 1st and 5 (12 men on the field penalty on 1st). I think knocking Trey Smith on his behind was all worked out. He was at war with the Baltimore LBs, and they picked the most pi$$ed-off player against the most hated KC player. It was beautiful. And I'm a KC fan.

Props to the Ravens' D. Those 2nd-half adjustments held KC scoreless. Sitting on a lead most of that time, KC never had to force anything. Just take what's given. Both teams' defenses were lights out in the red zone. Just too good. Too fast. Too disciplined, for there to be an easy way to punch it in.

I have to say that fumble inside the 1 by Zay Flowers is just too improbable for words. I thought the Ravens were right in the thick of it. I think we were all shocked when that great "broke the code" breakthrough score turned out to be a fumble recovered by the Chiefs.

  14. I think the best analysis of the last two playoff games with the Chiefs is not the faulty coaching of the opponents. The Chiefs won because they have superior coaching, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and Chris Jones. I’m tired of hearing all of the critics blame it on their opponents coaching staff.

  15. Thank you Colin for being one of the only national broadcasters to call put John Harbaugh. The Ravens will not have sustained success in the playoffs until he is gone. 😮‍💨

  16. WHOA. You literally said that Harbaugh was technically an offensive coach because he came from special teams on your show recently. Now after a loss he's a defensive coach? This is an all time Colin pivot.

  17. Exactly!! When you think of Lamar, you think of Randall Cunningham, Michael Vick, Patrick Mahomes, etc. He has to leave the pocket to be effective. His legs are more valuable than 99% of the league. Somebody has to be axed for this failure.

  18. We all were on the fence about picking against the Chiefs at any time, however this was a turning point in Mahomes legacy. I think even if they don't win the Superbowl no one is going to doubt him anymore in big games.

  19. First couple minutes I'm speaking to here… But look, we've seen it now over and over and over. Mahomes and the Chiefs show up, they drive it down your throat the 1st and 2nd possessions offensively and you're down 14 or at best just 7… They force you to play from behind when they are at their best. Why teams haven't learned to stick to their gameplans longer is beyond me. But it's clearly an affect of getting down early and feeling the pressure to catch up with Mahomes and that offense. Credit Andy Reid for always having two outstanding drives planned to start games. After that you can see him start to tinker and take chances in odd spots just to see what the D will do. Spags and the D deserve ALL the credit for this SB run, but y'all it's insane how Andy can dial it up, Patrick can get his team motivated and educated, and then execute it… time and time and time again early in games. And watch out, Chiefs are doing this without a true #1 or elite WR. What happens when they go get one to go with Rashee Rice and Kelce's last year or two??? And that defense is still loaded next year? Oh brother… they about to wax the league next season y'all.

  20. I wasn't surprised. Lamar was gonna choke eventually.

Edit: also, it's funny how Lamar was supposed to be better because he didn't have a run-first offense. Yet, this year, they still run the ball all the time… except in the game that mattered most.

  21. We are sick in Baltimore. Harbs should have taken a fake advisory role in the front office. Promote Mike Mac
I have no idea what that was, our defense adjusted. 6 touches total for RB. Monken called the worst game I’ve ever seen in a big game any game. Cheifs were playing Nickel almost the whole game, and we fed right into it. We played like we were 30 points down. Remember the SB Harbs won had Ray/Reed leadership. That game is on Harbs and Lamar. Monken obviously but Harbs let him destroy ourselves. Why are trying to work Andrew’s in this game??? Makes no sense when you’re cooking with Likely that’s coaching.

  22. Then we have to listen to Harbs give us that tired ole underdog I’m proud. No one gave us a chance, everyone counted us out. Ah not they didn’t everyone picked the Ravens some before the season. 17 points, Lamar totally broke down, dude they didn’t score in the second half. At some point great players put the team on their back . Lamar does that every week until he gets to the big games. Flacco was the opposite man.

  23. As a Baltimore fan, that game made me sick. The offensive play calling is below an F. Did not recognize my team and it reminded me when Roman called the plays against the Titans in the 2019 playoff game. Very similar games. This time I didn't see it coming. Can't trust the offensive coordinators in the playoffs. Will never get my hopes up again.
