Great interview … I follow football a lot. KC fan, but I love to keep up to date on all the moves every team makes. The one thing I've found mind-boggling is that they haven't talked about the job Vech has been doing enough. Re-vamped our defense in an off-season, and we win the Super Bowl. We lose the next superbowl, and he revamps the oline in an off-season. We lose in the AFC championship, and he revamps the secondary. I watch other teams struggle with the same issues year after year. Including KC before him and Reid arrived.

We had 8 rookies playing significant snaps in a freaking super bowl. Two scored TD's. 4 played in the secondary. Our rookie CB's gave us three INT's in the postseason. And our rookie LB had six tackles in the SB running around like a madman. AND then we have 10-12 picks in this draft. I still can't get over it. What an incredible job by everyone.

Main thing I got out of this. Hire a coach let him coach. Hire a doctor, let him doctor, hire anyone for anything let them do it. It’s when you try hiring yes men or over ruling them you end up like Dallas has been since 94.
26:30 Wow… very wise thoughts and procedures on players' health evaluations. Abstracting away the name and profile of the player so the doctors can only look at the issues themselves and give a clear yes or no. Brilliant.
