To hell with that groundhog, it’s ‘spring’ enough for me! With a solid week with well-above freezing temps, snow is melting and that old nasty, clumped together straw in the chicken coop and run is just….gross. It needs to go! Watch Sarah as it’s out with the old in with the new! With fresh brand new straw purchase from Fleet Farm, Sarah scoops out the old straw, throws it into her garden and places new straw in for the girls to have a nice, clean, dry place to walk . The hens have a lot to say about this new arrangement and are excited for the healthy change, especially Parmesan who doesn’t seem to want to get out of the way. The girls have access to their dust bath area once again, and are happy to scratch it something new. Sterling, the Pup even makes an appearance!
