This truck took a series of legal 4wd trails through the woods and ended up in the Newberry Crater. Unfortunately instead of turning around when he hit the snowmobile only trails, he kept going and eventually became stuck, and had to get a ride back to town from the Sheriffβs Department. So the next morning after getting approval form both the Sheriffs Department and the Forest Service, Grumpy and I took the track @Jeep up to get him pulled out.
Instead of going back through the woods, we took him straight down the snowmobile trail to the entrance gate about 5 miles away. As with all of the situations involving law enforcement, I donβt know what the tickets or fines were, because I donβt care. To put it simply, other peopleβs business is none of my business, so I donβt even ask. I have a job to do and thatβs all I worry about.

I've been an off roader my whole life and have been in and helped out in many stuck vehicle situations. I've never heard of a soft shackle until now. Thanks for the information and your excellent advice and videos.

I use soft shackles to attach my Little Giant ladder to the ladder of my camper when traveling.
The Yankum rope manufacturer will tell you the correct way. Listen to him not internet know it alls.
