Out of all fairness, you can just spawn in a sapling since you busted ass to find the biome in the first place and got fucked. It will literally not be cheating if you spawn one in 🙂

Hey Wattles, you may be able to fix this!
Create that new world with the old seed, then exit out, then copy the survival island's level.DAT file and use it to overwrite the level.DAT file in the new world.
I had to do this when I screwed up my survival island playthrough after 400 days. Was able to save all my island builds and continue from where I left off.

You can reload all the chunks that you don't use in your world when 1.20 comes out or even now using a software maybe it will work
