Spanj is getting a bit salty about hitboxes today. I get its a usual complaint but playing other games seems to have raised the frustration another notch.
As a matter of fact, yes you DID show us something new. I could be mistaken, but out of all of your EGS videos, not ONCE have you had to GM your way out of a bind on camera. It is actually a very valid point: If you want to play this game AND have fun, learning the console commands is arguably a MUST. I love this game…but I also HATE the hit boxes and I hate the fact that there are just so many major issues that Eleon seems incapable of fixing.
Anyway, that's enough ranting, excellent video as always Spanj, thanks a ton!

@Spanj to stop the continuous error popup loop. open the console screen and remove the checkmark at the top of the window. This will stop the loop popping open the window to allow you to send support emails on every error. LOL opps should have waited another 5 seconds of the video. But you can do that while in the game menu even before joining as server/loading a game.
As a relative novice to the game.. I found the difficulty spike of the Ilmarinen to be WAY too much. I died 60+ times clearing it – it got to the point that it just wasnt fun anymore.
so i have all ways been a bit confused if the meds to kill the parasite that is the legacy are so essy to come by and it seems they had a bunch all ove the ship and the med bays can git rid of it How is it a plague!!!! makes no sense

There are a few spots in the Ilmarinen (such as the hangar bay) where you can jetpack up to the ceiling and be safely out of reach of the abominations
I'm surprised that you don't use your Drone as bait to turn the sentries gun around!? I know it's a bit cheesy, but If they didn't want us to do use it, then the guns won't shoot at your drone!🤔

When you started getting the CoC error I was laughing, but inside I was dying a little… its happened to me SO. MANY. TIMES… Im not a beginner but I still learn stuff from watching you though!
Random thought but if someone took the Empyrion style Galaxy and mining/building but combined it with all combat through Mechs where you can build and customize ala Mech Warrior or Armored Core, I would consider that the foundation of an amazing game.

I can't remember if you've mentioned if you HAVE to have warp capability in order to take a small vessel to the moons? I know you need warp to go to Omakron, I hope I spelled that right. Favorite POI in the vanilla game for sure! One quick tip for new players. Notice how Spanj had a few miniguns. When you loot a new weapon, it comes with a full clip. So in this mission, if you say, run out of minigun rounds, you can swap it out for a minigun you haven't used yet and it should have a full clip 👍🏾
Played a bit of egs and to me, it looked like you were hitting walls and floors right in front of instead of the enemy bevause you were hip firing. You reticle was on the enemy but the actual vector from your barrel to the target had a wall or floor in the way. But i could ne wtong. I almost never hip fire in this game. At leat i don't think I did. Been a while😂
Is there a show hitbox command in the console?
yes the last POI you did but in Reforged you go to an underground bunker if you die there and click spawn close the game puts you on top of the ground with no way to get the the bunker and you backpack or your ship which is half way around the moon / planet lol so yes "God" through the ground to just before my back pack LOL
I never mind shooting them when they glitch through walls and doors. I died three times to a robot turret before I could figure out it was shooting me by glitching through the wall of an adjacent room.
