  1. Re-Reforged is what i hope Lost War of the Horde will one day be, that said i should work on it some more i kinda stalled out the project recently trying to learn to program quests

  2. The reading of the codexes is a bonus, and I appreciate it. The Gnolls, for instance, were especially interesting to read about. Didn't recall the Ogres fighting (alongside the Horde) in the First War, mind you… though it is funny that they go west to Kalimdor. Beating Thrall and Jaina there! How farsighted. And the two head thing is hilarious.

I like the idea of doing a classic graphics playthrough paired with a new graphics re-reforged run too.

If I were to speculate about the Forest Trolls, it would be that they were able to melt back into the wilds when the Horde was basically disbanded, whereas the Orcs and Ogres mostly ended up in an internment camp.

Ah. Warcraft 3 designs are so… bizarre, and even more so in more realistic graphics. Like, the original had the blocky graphics so it is more forgivable, but now? Thrall is using a hammer that is approximately the same size as his torso and it looks utterly ridiculous. Even Warhammer tends not to have such ridiculous proportions. And this wasn't the case in Warcraft 1 or 2 either. Just see the warhammers/polehammers the knights were using. That said, I think the Grunt axes look okay, but the maces they sometimes get are… really weird.

I did preorder Reforged, I admit, but I never actually played it. There was a lot of kerfuffle over it, but the thing that really got me is that anything you made for the Map Editor technically belonged to Blizzard, and there was no way I was going to risk any of my own character ideas and such being lost to Blizzard… and the editor was one of the main reasons I was interested. But if this gets interesting enough, it might be worth playing.

  3. This is what we were thinking we were gonna get with Reforged. Big props to the maker and thank you for showcasing it. It'll be one of the most complete showcases of WC3 by the time you're done, and that's awesome. Bound to bring you some extra eyeballs too.
