Chargers Clinch The 5th Seed In The Playoffs

Dave, Josh, and Mario react to the HUGE win by the Chargers over the Raiders. The Bolts now lock in the 5th seed and face the Texans. How big is this for Harbaugh in his first season?

  1. Trey Pipkins, Sports Illustrated, says, "Starting right tackle Trey Pipkins went down with what the team is saying is an oblique injury. This would be a massive blow for a unit that has struggled at times this season." OMG,, IMO, if our stellar standout star can't play against houston, what are we gonna do!

  2. Did you see how the denver head coach took down reids chiefs.. instant coach of the year. Every substitution reid made was countered by, whats his name Payton. Terrific coaching by him, resulting in a shutout of the Chiefs. Chiefs should be no problem for our bolts when we play them in playoffs.

  3. Can you imagine: Ladd ..and Quentin ..putting up a performances like this in the playoffs ..? ..seriously ..having TWO lights out receivers? ..and ..the Raider secondary are not pushovers ..with our full offensive arsenal ..(these receivers playing like they did today ..both tackles ..and a healthy Dobbins) ..I’ll be more worried about the defense being able to shutdown the critical drives they need to in order to secure the wins ..next few weeks will be exciting ..Go BOLTS!

  4. Like Dave I’m also skeptical regarding QJ. Do it when the pressure is on against a good team. I’m glad he was making catches that were the best of his career but against an overmatched 4-13 team leaves me with a lot of doubt. I’m glad he did it and I’m rooting for him but any player can go off on any given Sunday and never match that effort again. In his 2nd year he has yet to have a good game against a good team. He’s obviously improved and that’s heartening to see but no one would be surprised if next week he disappears. I hope I’m wrong and this is an indication of what’s to come

  5. I’m glad we have the 430pm Saturday game as oppose to the 1pm Sunday game. I knew we wouldn’t be in the running for any other time slots playing the Texans. Those were the NFL only 2 options for us.

  6. 2:09 QJ looks like me might be serviceable, but we still need a true #1 IE: Higgins haha. Ya'll see Hill quit on his team in 4th quarter. Than talking smack after the game about how this was 1st season he wasn't in playoffs and how he thinks he going to dip out with 2 years remaining on his contract. He took himself out whilst they still had a chance. This guy is a POS on and off the field. Wd better not try to bring his sorry arse here.

  7. 35:44 I'm just hoping QJ isn't filling the front office with false confidence in thinking they don't need to go hard after Higgins, or possibly even offering up some picks to try to pry Jameson from Detroit. Just please stay away from Hill.

  8. 40:09 Josh I hope to God Nike loses the NFL contract in 2026. Absolutely HATE these Nike Jerseys. They fit more like shirts than a Football Jersey. Bring back Rebook, My old Wilson Jerseys from way back in the day weren't bad either.

  10. QJ probably won't have another big game in the playoffs cuz defenses might treat him like an actual threat. But putting this performance on film is what we needed to get Ladd a little breathing room.

  12. I agree with you guys that this isn't at least yet the happiest I've been with a Chargers season. But we are a fan base of a team that has had great players but not great success in the postseason. But this trip to the playoffs definitely feels better than 2 years ago when we made the playoffs with Brandon Staley!!! It feels so different this year and to see this team beat the crap out of the Raiders is always a great thing!!!

I am a Chargers fan through and through. I hate that they left San Diego though. I wish the city and Dean could have worked something out but my love for this team is not going away…..
