  3. Peaceful succession is literally the only way this could end peacefully in the long run. And as to your Texas extorting the Midwest comment, Texas would literally be one of the biggest sources of oil and natural gas if it succeeded and it's population isn't breaking 30 million so it would only need to sustain and slowly grow that many people. Are you telling me with all the food production that goes on in Texas and the fact it's be a top ten oil exporting country that it couldn't survive and thrive without having any other obligations except to its own self interest? Furthermore, unlike the mid-west, it has an extensive coastline for shipping and the like which further undercuts the primacy of mid-western food imports.

  4. It's not Rio Gron, it's Rio Grande, Gringo. Spanish doesn't do the silent consonant thing like French and French influenced languages like English. It's far more phonetic and more sylabbic. In other words, it's pronounced Gron-Day, tho I'd accept Grand-Day because at least then you'd show you'd understand that the word has more than one syllable and get the gist of it.
