I'm happy that chaos dwarfs are finally here but I just feel the Empire needs more love now more than ever.
Choo Choo Charles?
we March for Hashut fear are coming
Man of culture the battlefield 1 music. I think its the turning tides music.
I thought the Skaven of clan Skryre had the underground-worldwide-metro(except ulthuan) that they used to transport troops/resources/"laborurers"/food around with and all of it was connected to Skavenblight (hence the quote "All tunnels lead to Skavenblight." makes alot of sense even if the story behind the quote is different).
Comment for the Skull Throne
6:27 at least in interim try the mod River Ruin Sea Lane by thesniperdevil – it gives a sea lane connecting both seas
Nice video but I only lost me a bit when talking about the trains.
It just dawned on me, Chaos Dwarfs don't have the battle mechanics of any of the WH3 races.
it wasn't a daemon only thing cause Ogres had the killing fleeing enemies thing. Surprised Chaos Dwarfs didn't get a "kill so many enemies with fire" to get some of that off map artillery.
please make blunderbus gunners like heavy gunners in shogun 2 …so satisfying 😀
You know one way I could see off map artillery trains working is that each character basically has a skill line broken up into chunks that unlock as they level up and in each of those chunks are mutually exclusive options denoting which piece of artillery/'spell' that gets added to their train.
Now from what I've seen of the skill trees that isn't the way they went but it at least to me sounds viable
The off map stuff could be done the same way as the Skaven where before a battle u pay food but here u would pay munitions to use the ability
I think the only reason for the laborers to be in your army is the fact that they're free. You can spam a few of them in a secondary army, something like that… sort of like Skavenslaves. Not for main army comp, but you could send it in first to break the enemy down while the big boys come in to mop up.
Chugga Chugga
If they add the river as navigable I sincerely hope they'll add naval units and battles. Kinda want to see Warhammer navies.
I hear that Battlefield 1 soundtrack 😊
Reali quick. I've been waiting for this to start a Grimgor campaign. I'm gonna worry it'll be worse then his old position. The early game was tough cause I'd the lack of AP early game and even old dwarves are tanky vs earlier factions
'ate Urks. 'ate Grobi. 'ate Daemons. 'ate Dawi. Luv Industry. Luv free labor. Luv factories. Simple as.
I hope they use something similar to the system for picking up/dropping battering rams before battle to let you arrange your train right before the battle. I think that would be the smoothest way to do it.
Maybe off-map artillery support should cost armaments, to represent manufactured ammunition.
first thing im doing is getting/making a mod to remove the god damn unit caps. day one. makes sense lore/balance-wise but omfg does it RUIN the fun of campaigns for me.
Just sayin, if skaven are allowed to build and use a nuclear missile in their battles, I see no reason why chaos dawi shouldn't be allowed off map train artillery.
I want a 40k Total War game.
Brooo i love that train idea for battles
Honestly considering that Ikit gets a literal nuke, I would be stunned if Chaos Dwarfs didn't get some kind of similar ability mixed with the black arc's mechanic. I NEED the trains and I need them now!
While talking about trains and means of army transport you forgot the Slann. In lore they where known to simply open a gate so the army can march through in an istant.
