  1. Good podcast : I think either the stat with baaed is worthwhile and therefore it’s is a lay at the same price as before the draw : or it’s not worthwhile and relevant: :(which is different from not being interesting..) I don’t see it’s both : the data set is pretty tiny in statistical terms and would I am guessing be based on predominantly handicap form ? Mainly from another time of year ? Anyways as ever you guys make me think :

  2. I struggle to agree with your view on Waterville based purely on a final sectional. The horse has still to produce a decent speed figure for a pattern class horse. The Irish Ces was run at a slow pace, and then the leaders started to sprint from before 4f out on the downhill section. As we know horses struggle to maintain their highest speed for more than 3F, so the leaders were fading in the final furlong. Lordan gave the horse a perfect confident ride going the shortest route and was the last to make his move, and the horse showed his class. Sectional timing is difficult in Ireland as they move the rails often and do not always align the furlong poles at the correct point. Waterville was handicapped off 99 and carried 8-9; so how can you compare the performance of Trueshan running off 120, carrying 10-8 in winning the Northumberland Plate? If James rather than Hollie Doyle was riding Trueshan, I think your view would change.

  3. 0-52 😂 well it was called out good and loud : I couldn’t believe O Meara would put Watson up on a 125/1 ..so I had a small dart at that and put it some multiples …complete fluke but it actually pissed in : (I feel a cnt for moaning it moved to 100 when I was accepted: that’s what’s hard to quantify the intuition that comes with following it for 30 years : the machine learning guys : the quant guys : take a week off and kiss all of it 😅
