Kim played great and Carter played great it was a slow start by them tho still a good win no matter what interesting to see how sparty does this year I don’t think they get 9 wins or anything but hopefully they do decent
Yea Tre dropped an easy one but Kim left some points on the field. Accuracy was sketchy.

Central Michigan in the first quarter had trouble on the goal line to score.
Wouldn’t be celebrating state fans. Y’all struggled the first half. Hope it was first week jitters need more competition in the big ten outside of Michigan, Ohio state and penn state. Will always root for the big 10 but damn that first half was disgusting. This year make sure none of your players get charged with battery against Michigan 😉

MSU ran the ball pretty well and later began connecting some passes. MSU D was solid but not really tested with the pass. CMU played well. CMU QB is tough but lacks great throwing skills. Both teams had quarterbacks missing open throws, near interceptions and receivers dropping passes. Both teams got better as the game wore on. This was a decent first outing for both teams. This is why you play these games. MSU will be OK. GO BLUE
When you have a QB who won't let it fly, you lose half your offense.

Eh, its the first game so I’m not gonna overreact too much. I still recall we beat WMU only 27-14 in 2013 and ended up going 13-1. Poor start, solid finish, on to the next game.
I know Noah's not the biggest guy, but what the h happened to the quarterback sneak on 4th downs?! Dantonio used it with probably a 95% success rate.

Thank you for producing, Matt!! Looking forward to rewatching my Spartans over Sunday breakfast (I slept in yesterday after staying up to watch Stanford v Hawaii). Slow start for Sparty. Improvement visible from all the rooms. TEs still need work. More discipline needed to avoid errors and penalties (two face masks, 12-man). DBs were good making open field tackles and not letting anyone get over the top. Granted it’s not Marvin Harrison Jr. AND no DBs were injured!! 🎉 Shoutout to J Kim for nailing the 47yard FG. 🎉🎉 Both trenches were solid. OL set up N Kim, Carter and Berger for good numbers. DL kept CMU mostly in check. UW will be a different story. Excited for this season! Go Green! V4MSU!
