  1. In the books. Charlie Reynolds manages to take down the 3 bug ships that are pursuing him in that DS9 episode alone. He also gets a cloak. And does joint missions with the defiant. If I recall he manages to get the first my forcing them to fly through a hell storm of photons while at maximum warp. Gets the second by dumping basically everything and the kitchen sink out the cargo bay at low warp. I think that damages the third enough for him to take it down with his one remaining phaser.

  2. It would be interesting to pit a Miranda class versus a Centaur class. I presume, with equal skills on both sides, the Centaur would prevail given its bigger frame and more modern make. (Being an Excelsior class Variant)

  3. I remember playing mods on. This game years ago its awesome its still played… Next time use a tractor beam the. Rotate though firing arc and torps trying to keep best shields facing the bug ship when possible. Break lock if losing any important systems…

  5. As I understand it, during the Dominion War, Starfleet (out of necessity) began assembling ships from the decommissioned husks that they had availiable in their scrap yards. They would combine still intact sections of old or incomplete vessels and simply upgrade them to currant standards. This allowed them to assemble ships for the war, much faster than if they built them from scratch. This is how the Centaur class came to be. They took an Excelsior class Saucer section and added parts from other classes to create it.
