Celebrity Equinox Pt.6: Martinique, Beyond The Beach, Southern Island Tour, Snorkeling, Rum Tasting

We had so much fun with Beyond The Beach last time we were in Martinique, so we’re checking out another one of their tours! Join us for the “Authentic Southern Tour” experience as we find out that a lot of things are closed on Sundays… but the highlights were definitely snorkeling at L’Anse D’Arlet as well as some spirited sampling at Clement Rum… then we head back to the ship for one of the most dangerous evenings in the history of cruising!! :O

  1. The church bells were AMAZING!!! Thank you for the daily vlogs, you have no idea how much I've been enjoying them. After all this time as a nurse and first responder, I got bit by the Covid bug. So glad I got all my jabs, and recovering at home with mild symptoms and watching Dee and Jay.

  2. I say this with as much love as I can , you hold the camera way to close to your face.
It just throws me off and I can't help but get cringed up.
You're taking us on an adventure, if I was there with you, would I be that close to your face ?
I promise you if you just hold the camera 🤳 further by like a foot , your views, retention rate, and subscribers would all go up.
Your videos are great but holding the camera that close to your face is just unrealistic and awkward

  3. We were at Clement for a tour, I can't remember what we brought back from there That 15 year was GOOD and smooth. You're right on the "body" Dee. Yup that was Chiluly glass if memory serves from one of the video's at the Seattle glass place.

  4. The history of the slave trade needs to be more known by all. Watching Alex Haley’s Roots as a kid was a vivid, influential education for me.
    I recommend it to everyone.

  5. I'm enjoying your voyage on Equinox, i'll be on in December, same ports!
We love the deck 3 interior staterooms. How has the internet been in your stateroom? And are there particular public areas with good internet?
Thanks for sharing this great vacation!

  6. Martinique is by far my favorite island that you have visited so far! And Dee, you are right the snorkeling was really nice there. As much as you enjoy snorkeling, should invest in a pair of fins. I know they’re a bit bulky to travel with but they are really worth it! I put mine in my backpack. I think you would love them! Also that really “bendy” tree was a banyan tree, they’re all over Hawaii ❤ Love you guys, Super, super tour!

  7. I was watching an older vlog you did on a Carnival ship and you mentioned getting a spiked milkshake. With my drink package I always end the evening with a kahula-hot chocolate. Nice.
