  1. Your marathon videos means you'll be shelling out a lot of money. Seems to me you should talk to the owner of the hostel as disconnecting the internet does not make much sense.

  3. find it funny that people wear masks while talking to a camera. There's very little indication that surgical masks have any impact on a respiratory virus. However talking to a camera with or without a mask around a crowd is spreading something the size of a virus around the crowd. To be clear I enjoy your videos and don't have any problem with you talking to the camera – but with a more serious virus than that which cannot be named – talking out loud in crowds would be much more dangerous than going maskless.

    I happen to be in KL and also wear a mask when told to – but when i see folks having animated conversations on the train while wearing masks – well it's hilarious.

    Just like early in the pandemic the gym I was going to became fanatic about cleaning equipment before and after use and setup cleaning stations – I kept bumping into people at the cleaning stations – much more than I would have before. An industrial engineer looking at the actual impact of most the virus theatre would laugh and laugh.

  6. An advice from an old man: dont tell what on your oponion the solution is. Tell the problem and an expert can help you. In life we ask often the wrong questions….
    Instead of asking about GB and the prize, say your are youtouber and want to upload a large file. Whats the solution to this?

  7. Doug, I love your journal videos. Why not move to a better hostel with good WIFI and cleaner kitchen and toilets. You don't have to stay where you are now. Your present hostel is no longer suitable for you.

I was just in Malaysia for the entire month of September and DIGI (internet provider ) was amazing .The stores are everywhere and the staff was incredibly helpful with "my issues " lol …..BTW Doug you inspired to go KL way back when ,with the free GO KL bus review.I love Malaysia and the people already planning my next trip back.

  11. when you decide to upload..buy a ultra add on within the celcom app..it works perfectly..the only downside is that work for 1 hour only..the ultra..the unlimited internet also does not really unlimited..when you reach the internet quota,the speed automatically decrease to 500kb like mine…
