  1. 13:20 150 million users mostly in the PRC.
Huawei's link the the CCP, imo, is the same as every other large and medium-sized business in the PRC. That they have a CCP office in them that ensures they operate in-line w/ CCP ideology.

  2. The main issue with Huawei might not be so much with its tech or equipment, but its close ties to the CCP and by Chinese law it is required to cooperate with information sharing with the government, just like TikTok.

  3. What is the consequence of the US ban on Huawei? The gap between the two countries in 5g adoption is widened. In China about one billion people are using 5g, while in the US that number is a few million.

  4. It’s ccp policy that any business in china is obligated to release all info if required by the party. Every business in china is a hand of the ccp. Who do you think supplements the businesses so they can sell items at bottom low prices to market out and bankrupt US businesses.

  5. "Administrations with little to nothing in common"…? Which of them is the anti-war administration? Which is the Medicare for All administration? Which is the $15 minimum wage administration?

    🙄

  6. Something similar no one is discussing outside the gaming industry is China's recent mass purchasing of shares in Western gaming companies or the companies outright. This isn't just them getting access to gamers information. Some anti cheat software adopted by these more Chinese owned companies can go as far as gaining admin control over a computer. Chinese investors now own the vast majority of that industry at a time when they've all, but banned gaming in their home country allowing only an hour or so per week with implementation of facial recognition software. It could be they just see it as a good investment, but I find it suspicious.

  7. You forgot to mention all Huwai network gear was found to have security backdoors that allowed Huwai to access all network traffic at anytime without the owners knowing. This why they were banned. It was not a mere accusation, it was a fact. Your efforts to make the reasons for the ban sound ambiguous shows you are an idiot or a liar.

  8. It's strange that every now and then, I get a browser warning about it requesting a connection to huawei from my huawei router, which I always blocked. Get me thinking. My Asus routers never did that.

  9. And Apple is a puppet of the us governement. 100% sure they spy as much as Huawei (if they do it after all) The pot calling the kettle black. Why not ban Oneplus or oppo then? Or Samsung?

  10. Huawei runs from China. Every medium or larger business there runs under close supervision of the CCP who normally place someone on the board- a commissar by any other name. They are a threat to western security and need to be excluded, at least we have IOS v Android to keep the market slightly competitive.

  11. "Could it be that HW is aiding the CCP ?" Yes, that but it is NOT the most important reason. The main reason is the rampant IP theft in their products. They have been caught infringing many times in many countries!. This is no way for a global company to operate. Why can't the Chinese understand this ?. You either license other tech or invent your own. Oh, they don't know hoe to invent anymore…..

  12. Oh, did you know Huawei intentionally KILLED Nortel (Canadian Telecoms giant of its day) by stealing all its IP and undercutting other suppliers?!. This would be an unforgivable act for any company. In a civilized society, such company would be sued to oblivion!.

  13. LOL, when more American using Huawei its called spy. When America wants oil they will say terrorist. When America want a country to stay poor they will called it communist and human rights, etc. Funny part is US presidents are making tons of money themselves in China
