  1. If you have ever seen any Aliens movies. the Eggs look like the ones that spawn the Face huggers in the movie. In the campaign mode of the game, the cave is west of the wrecked main base, on the west side of a messa. Not sure where it would be in free mode. The white icon in my does not show either.

  2. the white marker does not show up when you use it. it is really for showing on the map itself.

You should be picking up all the uranium because you are going to need it when they put in the other blueprints

There's a much smaller Butte with a cave in it that has the alien eggs in it. Also, the rads beep a lot and make the edges of your screen go red but beyond that it's really nothing. Check your hp it never changed! At the tutorial base there's the radioactive Rover that I've been all up in …And there's even a Steam achievement to repair that Rover! I think that in Freeplay mode at least [it may be different in the campaign] the Rad warnings are all bark and no bite.

I "mark" the cave tunnels with Rubick's Cubes! I drop them on the cave floor to give me a visual reference. The colors of the cube faces are really handy to fix your orientation in the caves. You can make them but they're kind of pricy for what they are! Better to build Living Rooms and dismantle them! Living Rooms drop Rubick's Cubes in addition to all the materials it took to build them. Plus you get all that wonderful Xp to level up your skills.

For O2 just make a Survival Pod and it will fill your O2 bottles just like the drop pod …and it has the nifty 3d printer too. It requires just 5kw/h to operate.

  5. I came to comment that it must be a different cave system, and I see others have done the same. The one I went into was shorter, you could only walk into it and no way get the rover in, but you did’t need to crouch either. Plus it was not a through way system but was a dead end with the eggs at the end. So a different cave altogether. Interesting. I watched somebody demolish the ores around the eggs with the jackhammer. So about 10 seconds of mad bleeping then it stopped because the ores were broken up.

  6. Sorry – but that was actually quite funny watching the struggle to set yourself up with a mini base. I suspect you know you made it more complicated than it should have been. Everything was going wrong wasn’t it? The machines back to front which happens to me all the time, the rover always at the wrong side! Just one of these days!!

  7. There are?‘s near bases and they Abandon tablets or at least they should be the? For the egg you’ll be around the mini map in that radius of that mini Map circle is ? Mark The Cave should be near Mountain inside. The cave is a small tunnel that has a bunch of radioactive material in the egg is in the middle of it.

  8. Four slots on the transformer set up for batteries out will give you four outs off of your battery so that one generator will charge them for batteries and then you can pull off them batteries overnight and not worry about a transformer

  9. Interesting video but I hate to tell you this sir maybe to you it didn't look dark in there but for us who are watching the video we couldn't see anything because it's too dark on our end to really enjoy watching it.

I strongly suggest did you find the blue print to unlock the night vision since it will help you save a lot of energy and make it easier to move through extremely dark areas. I have it unlocked on my character and I love it.

  10. If you want to pick up cables, instead of clicking to unplug then dropping and then picking off the ground … You can just Click and Hold LMB and it will place the cable in your inventry

  11. For fob I build one big solar panel plug strait into rover. Then one small one strait into the well. The well will generate enough I the daylight you’re not using it to fill a base so it stays there and will fill many bottles for you after just a few minutes.

For the cave mine was only a small cave with one entrance/exit. It had a bunch of unbreakable rocks in it. After a maze of dead ends I found a room filled with irradiated rocks and you pull the jh and crush a couple then run away after doing that a few times and getting all crushed picking up the pieces I found the eggs. Not sure if they were in the irradiated rocks or beside them as I was just running back and forth swinging my jh without even looking, but it was a room filled with the rocks. Completely different cave system though not sure where yours is.
