Welcome to episode 4 of my Pacific Drive Let’s Play!
Have you ever wonder what would happen if you mixed Sunautica with Stalker, then added a dash of Death Stranding? Well, Pacific Drive aims to answer that burning question with style and aplomb!
Thanks to Keymailer and Ironwood Studios/Kepler Interactive for the game Key!

The gamma vision was greatly appreciated. Any chance that could be a thing in future episodes as well? It's SO much better than just the flares.
I guess you want a little excitement Aavak, not waiting until you are closer to the gate location before activating it?
Praise, praise, sad words, gratitude for car and high praise for the stoic driver.
Honestly, Aavak apologizing to the car at the end was some of the best content I have ever seen. I am shocked he made it back.
Our Car A Hero!
Our car great
Your car has gained a quirk. Not sure if you are familiar with quirks but before going to tinkering station to fix it you should check your car to see what is wrong with it. Try various things like turning the steering while lights are on or opening and closing doors, while carefully watching if anything odd is happening. Spoilers below.
common quirks:
– horn honks when trunk door closed
– lights dim when steering turned
– fuel gauge follows the direction of wipers as they move
– door opens when shifter set to park
Personally, I prefer the indoor car ligh on, only because it's super hard to see anything on youtube otherwise lol
I may be totally wrong, because I havent actually played the game myself, but I feel like the Abductor's don't really care about you, they might have made angry noises and flown towards you, but they've never actually hurt you, they only seem interested in picking up your car, but not you yourself…
Prais be the omnisiah, for the indomitable machine spirit of this car.
Looks like those off-road tires would've been useful afterall.
Well that was an intense ending! Looking forward to the next episode.
They are right Aavak is becoming obessed with the car
The voice acting in this game is so solid. You really feel the characters and what they're experiencing. Tobias is a personal favorite!
Man that drive was stressful. 😵💫
Fantastic aavak love this play through 👍🏻
Personal opinion, grab anchors as and when you can. Grabbing them seems to shorten the timer on the storm, but unless you've summoned a gateway, even a Swift Storm moves slowly enough that you're under minimal pressure unless you're having to backtrack to anchors near the storm front.
The storm front also always approaches from the furthest edge from your exit, road or gateway.
The only way I know to pass time is just…AFK and wait. You can do that in the garage with no penalty.
PRAISE THE SELFLESS CAR!
On the permadeath thing: You can fail by running out of health, and…….
(poor man's spoiler tags)
(also posting before finishing the video)
(I too like to live dangerously.jpg)
It's not completely over. However you will lose most (all?) of the stuff you brought with you and/or collected on the run.
